I'm more interested in this "drunkorexia" the side bar is warning us about.

Seems you can get drunk faster, save money, and not gain weight simply by not eating before you drink.

How does skin cancer form, is it a result of that specific area being burned and damaged? Because every person that I know that has had skin cancer got it in places that don't see the sun.

Its actually a worse spot to get cancer. If you get it on your forearm, you are going to notice it and see it get larger.

Several years back I got an awful sunburn - went to a pool party and burned every inch of exposed skin (excluding the palms of my hands and soles of my feet). I put on sunblock. It claimed to be waterproof. I reapplied it every couple hours over the course of the party. And yet, when I got home I looked like a lobster. So I didn't get a sunburn "in spite of the warnings." I got a sunburn in spite of taking normal precautions.
