This one is pretty bad. You tape plastic wrap, or the weather plastic stuff you put on the inside of your windows during the winter over someone's apt, dorm, door all the way to the top leaving a 1' gap. Then fill this cavity full of packing peanuts. When the 'recipient' opens their door the 'gap' creates a vacuum effect sending the peanuts flying into their room.

It looked like he closed his eyes in anticipation of the second tape but I'm still not sure.

50/50 on this one.

Pfffttt... farking amateur.

We used to fill giant-sized manilla envelopes to bursting with shaving cream. Tape the flap down with duct tape. Snip one corner off at a 45 degree angle and slide the open corner under the dorm room door. Then wind up to Cleveland and slam your Biology 101 textbook (or any 50 pound textbook) down on the envelope. Instant shaving cream coating for everything in the room. Important final step : grab textbook and run like hell.

Never. Got. Caught.

I'm trying to think of something spiteful to say about someone who wears a hat with their "name" on it, but that made me laugh.

That works better with baby powder. You'll never get rid of all of it.

Phase 1: Pee into large coffee can
Phase 2: Freeze
Phase 3: Slide urine disc under door, across the room.
Phase 4: Watch as guy tries to figure out who peed on his floor, assumedly through his window.
Phase 5: Profit?

Going out on a limb here but I'd say that eyelid reaction time might be a tad quicker than motor skill evasive action.

Meh, it'll never beat the old 'cling film across the toilet bowl' trick.
Remember to do it before you lower the seat..

Was about to complain it was likely a digital camera, not "tape", but alas... nicely done subby.

Oh yes, this works. Back in school we went low tech and did it with newspaper instead of plastic wrap, but we were a bit more cruel in our substitution for the packing peanuts. We used foam insulation pellets, kind of like the filling you'd find in bean-bag chairs. Not only were they a lot smaller than the peanuts, they were a lot lighter and most importantly they were all charged with static electricity. They would float all around the room and stick to everything. People were finding those little bastards when they moved out at the end of the year, the prank took place sometime in the first semester. Heh...

/Flour under the door blasted by a hair dryer was a good one as well.

He's carrying a smug smile on his face from finding the first one- at the instant he collides with the second. Delicious prank indeed.

Flash Flood:

Take 1, 40 gallon trash can, commonly found in residence halls into the dorm showers, fill it with water almost all the way to the top. Lean it against one of the dorm room doors. Knock on the door, and get out of there.

/never got caught either
//the dude didn't appreciate it
///neither did the girls that lived under him

Imagine baby powder and juxtapose a school with a dive program and scuba bottles all over the dorms.

That's hilarious. And you can substitute the water with any number of things! The possibilities are endless!

Back when I was working on a shipping dock, people had a tendency to park their cars by the dock entrance instead of the parking lot, potentially in the way of trucks. After we started shrink wrapping entire cars, it stopped pretty quick. The one I remember was a grand caravan, took some work, and took a /lot/ of work from the owner to go home that night.

When I was in the Army, we used to make Barbisol grenades by holding the can, jabbing the side with a screwdriver, then tossing it into an unsuspecting barrack. Fun times.

I find this one far more entertaining and the 2^128 people out there that seemingly get caught by it by their evil friends video taping them.

1. Freeze a couple of old Barbasol shaving creams.
2. Carefully cut the bottom off the cans.
3. Place in victims car/room/desk drawer when they won't be there for a bit. A hot day works brilliantly.
4. Learn that shaving cream expands like a motherfarker when it thaws.

After Christmas, go out into the night and look for a home with an old dead christmas tree on the corner. Drag it to the home, gently lean it on the front door then knock & run like hell.

Similar thing happened to my brother: he saw that his room door was open, then spied the bucket of water perched on the top edge. Very proud of himself, he carefully took the bucket down, walked over to the sink in his room, and poured out the water...only to discover that the pranksters had removed the trap from the sink.

The stinky cheese man:

take a packet of cheese from a box of kraft dinner...

Sprinkle lightly in running shoes and underneath bedsheets. The body heat and time do the work for you.

\Only for really good friends or really bad enemies.
