IIRC ,Sin City was a Dimension Films production, the 'adult' arm of Disney.

I thought it was going to be about Pleasure Island, which is basically a small park turned with 6-8 different themed bars. When it first opened on was even a roller rink, but you can guess how well that went over with a bunch of drunks, so the skating didn't last long.
I wrote a paper in college comparing THK and Pleasure Island to Sodom and Gomorrah.
Looks like they closed all the bars down in 2008 though (new window)
