The club and the association have argued that Williams may have died from a heart attack before encountering the alligator.

Or she could have died from a heart attack while encountering the alligator.

How many alligators did it take to make a case large enough for the whole court to fit in it

We should thank this alligator for dispatching a zombie. And I'm adding an alligator-filled moat to my zombie-proof bunker.

Isn't it a violation to greenlight two headlines in the same day that use the same bad joke?

In theory she could have died from a heart attack* after encountering the alligator (if the gator had walked or swum away first).

* or exsanguination

As precedent I'd like to cite "Don't start none" v "Won't be none".

I'm not sure how the club or association could be held liable unless previous reports of a nuisance gator were ignored. I'm not sure how it is in that part of Georgia, but in Florida, gators are everywhere and you just deal with it. If you walk too close to any natural body of fresh water, you're taking your life in your hands.

It's like that around here in this part of Georgia, too, particularly in the neighborhood where that house is. They put the ritzy houses by the marshes so they could have boat access. Unfortunately, they also have gator access. Everybody here knows that bodies of water - manmade lagoons or otherwise - may or may not be gator-free.

Then again, the old lady who died was visiting from Canada, so maybe she didn't know.
