If it's possible for Texas to lose, but Michael Young to still win a World Series, I'd be cool with that.

I personally enjoy it here quite a bit. Low cost of living, good wages (In fact, if you take every major city in the US and divide average wage by cost of living, STL comes out the best), not too big, not too small. Crime is bad but generally focused in a small part of the city that I never go into.

It could be ignorance of not knowing better, but hey, whatever.

I want to watch - it's the World Series, and I don't want to be one of those people that only watches big games when my team's in them - but I just can't bear the thought of bringing Joe Buck and Tim McCarver into my life for three hours.

Step 1: MUTE the television.

Step 2: TURN ON the radio.

Step 3: FIND the station calling the game (usually on AM frequency).

Step 4: MASTURBATE in the kitchen when no one is looking.

Step 5: ENJOY the game. :-)

Don't get me wrong. I am very proud of where I came from. The STL is one of the few major cities that have their shiat together when it comes to infrastructure (good example is the now over engineered Poplar Street Bridge, as well as all of the road upgrades), and if it didn't snow or get below 50 I would probably still be there.

I still visit often but hate cold weather.

RANGERSSSSSSSSSSS

i27.photobucket.com

And anyone who needs help deciding who to root for, just remember that the Rangers have never won a WS. In fact, Texas had won a total of one playoff game (not a series, a GAME) in their entire history until last year. We need this. I love my Rangers. Bring the boomstick and let's do this.

Hey Subby. It's the definitive back-to-back AL Champions, so you can stick your air quotes.

Go Rangers!

I don't really have a fan stake in either team, though I was rooting for the Rangers last year...but this year, I feel the Cards in 6 are what will happen. I think, either way, we'll see a pretty good series. I definately won't miss it.

I believe they have 3:00 tee times.

It's simple, really. This series is really too close to call, except through the power of Fark.

The prettiest pic posted before the first pitch, of a girl semi-clad in one team's uniform, tips the scales to that team.

Invoking the power of Fark.... NOW.

When various statistical quirks are harmonized, Mitch Moreland is better than Albert Pujols.

The Royals are the World Series champs if they could turn back time, clone George Brett and Bo Jackson in thier primes and then return to 2011 and have the Indians and White Sox of the late 80s, the Twins of the 70s and the Tigers of the mid 90s as their division rivals

When statistics have you comparing a 1st ballot hall of famer, 4 hole 1st baseman vs a role player... you know things have gone wrong.

Never been to St. Louis, but listening to the radio and all the local media talks about how awesome that downtown sports area is... Seeing the pictures, I much prefer NEW Bush over OLD Bush.

48 degrees and sprinkles for the first pitch. Advantage - Cardinals.

Texas played 38 of its home games in 100 degree plus weather.
