As a freshman, my high school band teacher was young. It was her first assignment after graduating college, so she was probably 22 or so. She came in with a total attitude too, and didn't account for the fact that the organization she inherited had been built by the previous band director of about twenty years, including the parents' booster club. She pissed off a lot of people, students and parents alike, by not bothering to survey the situation.

Because of this, at the end of band camp, no one bothered to tell her of the tradition of sneaking up on the band director and dumping the water jugs on them on the last day. She was wearing a thin white t-shirt with a lacy white bra. Combine the freezing cold water and the fact that it took her a little bit to figure out what happened, and we got quite the show for half a minute. Damn that legal-rule clipboard she carried with her!
