Panera Bread...

A sandwich and a drink with a bag of chips is $9.10.

What the fark.

A friggin Turkey on bread with some tomato pesto sauce.

What is the appeal of Panera except to hipsters who want to use a computer in public.

I get Panera for free so I'm really getting a kick... They donate day old muffins and those big old pastry wheels, still perfectly fine and moistly sealed, to a business that helps the needy in the area where my roommate works. The fact that I've seen them at the mall means they are probably overpriced, but they are pretty good, and the fruit pastries are good for a week or so at room temperature. The muffins are great.

Haywatchthis

The needy are people who facilitate care for family members raising relatives who were about to be lost in the foster system. Usually poor elder minorities in shiatty areas taking care of grandchildren with incredibly sparse income.

The reason for their high prices was all explained in their song "5 Dollars a Loaf".

Well if I'm stealing from the needy, I must say the muffins are quite worth it.

Pretty much. Call them "SandwichBucks" around here. The Nappa almond chicken sandwich isn't half bad, but if I'm going with friends/coworkers to a place to overpay for sandwiches I usually get them to go to Jason's Deli so I can at least get the salad buffet.

A chicken caesar salad, a bowl of soup, and a drink is ~$10. That's not bad. Most of their shiat is expensive, but that's a pretty good meal right there. And every few you buy you get free shiat like a free drink, free bagel, free coffee, etc

Which farker would you even be referring to?
/There's calling out a farker "blah blah blah, according to Farker X" vs. "blah blah blah mentioning a farker's handle that happens to be part of a common joke" NO. Not calling out a Farker.

I started listening to my Pantera CD for the first time in almost two years, so I'm really getting a kick out of this thread.

I had Walk stuck in my head while showering this morning so I popped the disk in the car.

/has VDP, GST, CFH, and 101 Live in mp3 format (yeah, the albums were store-bought)
/also has a copy of this song in the root directory, from their disavowed glam metal days (link pops)

Now in times when society feeds us
this is where the shiat begins--
Unaware that they're going to wheat us
rage from the farts within.
Born of this world which is kind of a deli,
but we'll be closer to leavened.

This is the art...of BREAD!

/It's only emotion.
