Yeah, and I bet Donnie Most wants people to quit calling him Ralph Malph, but that ain't gonna happen either.

He's doing better than Wesley Crusher.

Okay... if you ignore all of Wheaton's video game gigs.

You have my respect, Mr. White. You made it through the hell of child stardom.

2011-10-18 04:29:07 PM
All he needs is that one killer blockbuster role and he'll be back on top. C'mon, White. You got this.

So... we're commenting on a comment with no foreseeable source, that... oh wait. It's Fark.

There just isn't that much demand for sleepy eyed black guys in showbiz these days.

2011-10-18 04:34:24 PM
Go ask Danny Bonaduce what he thinks and get back to us, Jaleel.

Maybe he can get you a job on "America's Dumbest".

What is he complaining about? There are hundreds of actors out there that can't even get a role, much less one on a show, much less one where he basically headlined the entire show. Yeah, it's humiliating to play Urkel, but why is he biatching to random websites when he could be taking smaller roles and making a name for himself?

Well, he was on the season premier of House a couple weeks back.

He was great in San Francisco International.

\Clu Gulager FTW!

Jaleel White, who played Steve Urkel on Family Matters says that he demands respect.

Sure, just invent a time machine, go back in time, and prevent your past self from playing Urkel. Problem solved!

Wasn't he on House recently. The prison ep?

And at least he didn't end up in porn like the girl who played Judy.

I have some questions. First, what exactly is he demanding respect for? And second, has no one explained to him that respect is not something that can be demanded, that it has to be earned?

Sounds suspiciously to me like the weird kid is now a weird grownup. Here's hoping he somehow stumbles into adulthood someday.

/And HELL no I didn't let my kids watch that insipid crap of a tv show. But you probably could have guessed that. :)

Contrabulous Flabtraption: Wasn't he on House recently. The prison ep?

Yup. He was the guy pushing the cart that House approached to get the "release tax" quantity of Vicodin.

He didn't say he demanded respect. Article subby linked to and it's link to another identical article it ripped off, have no mention of him saying so. Misquote or lie.

I've seen Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus. There is a reason why people don't treat him like a versatile actor.

Hey his big comeback roll was big fat liar

He did a really good job playing Christ Tucker on House a while ago.

I still can't believe he voiced Sonic in like three different shows (Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic SatAM, and Sonic Underground).

I rewatched Sonic SatAM recently and it really holds up. Shame it never got a third season :(

God I loved that show. My fav one when I was a kid, though it only had the two seasons.

Wow a guy who wore suspenders and his pants to his armpits until he was 23 is wondering why he gets no respect?

Anyone remember "Grown Ups"? No, not the Adam Sandler movie, but the UPN show JW had with Meow Mix guy and Giovanni Ribisi's twin sister.

/Yeah, was about as lame as one would believe.

2011-10-19 01:24:44 PM
He should've spun off the Urkel character into a series of comedy/action films, like the movie Rush Hour, except he'd play both roles. That and/or an Urkel series which would be a sort of melange of PeeWee Herman and Mr. Bean.

If he had made the right choices, we may have been able to even avoid several Adam Sandler movies.

Another mistake: not going into politics.

2011-10-20 09:16:21 PM
He needs to pitch a show where he is Urkel all grown up. Successful, cool, hot wife, good job, awesome dad to a couple of little Jr. nerd Urkels. He helps his kids navigate through nerdom.
