I will be disappointed if I don't see a post trying to blame this on unions.

They're going to try and recall him in 2012 since the state has a law that you can't recall a politician until (I think) 1 year after the start of their term.

From what I understand, things are still pretty pumped after the partial success of the state senate recall campaign. The state DNC is already making preparations for Walker's recall campaign.

I believe the recall petition will kick in on November 15.

Can't wait to recall Scooter. I'm almost positive with court challenges and whatever wharrgarrble this will be ugly. As of now i've heard potential recall is next summer. Somehow this will get pushed back to November which would make more sense i think. Just ready for dipshiat to leave. God help us if Kleefisch is pushed to be his successor.

Well, if the teachers had agreed to bigger pay cuts, Walker could've followed through on this promise. It's not his fault the unions forced his hand.

I think recent history pretty much sums up that they will say whatever will appease their audience even if it contradicts what they just told a previous audience. Any good "confidence man" will tell you it isn't abpout delivering the goods, it's about telling them what they want to hear.

He's worried enough that his Chief of Staff resigned to run his campaign against the recall. He also just called another Special Session for the Senate and Assembly to "focus on jobs" (which has such pressing decisions on tap as repealing the earn-a-buck hunting rule, changing fertilizer signage rules, and making nursing homes immune from oversight), so I expect there to be some wanton asshattery fresh in the minds of voters when the petitions start circulating in a few weeks.

There is a glaring hole in the plan so far: no one has come out to say they will run against him yet. It's as much about the crap he's pulled in the previous months as provided a suitable candidate to replace him with. Getting enough signatures to trip a recall would be great, but if he isn't replaced, it doesn't matter.

It's ok if you are a Republican.

Recall efforts here start Nov. 15th. Can't wait. I really hope it's successful, but I have my doubts. The derp around this state lately left epic behind light-years ago.

It's very unfortunate Russ already said he's out. I honestly think if he threw his hat into the race it would be a done deal.

Remember it's ok when Republicans takes all the benefits they want to get rid of our do get rid of for others. Or when they take tax dollars which they have called "wasteful".

...wait I forget why.

In a press conference yesterday, Walker said he had done more than what he promised during the campaign, by paying $5,600 less. than what he had promised. Link (new window)

If I understand his math, paying 6.65% of his salary from August through December is even better than paying 5% of his salary for the entire year.

HotWingConspiracy: It's government's fault for offering a pension, he's really a victim here.

Yeah. That's it. It's him who's the victim Big evil government gives these benefits and forces Republicans to take it to be addicted to left wing government money.

It's like the liberal tie Republicans in a chair and force heroin into their bodies so they can become addicted and can't do anything about it.

I think that's why it makes it ok for them to take it. Even though everyone else who takes it is considered a leech on society. for doing it.

I have it on good authority (no, I don't) that WI gov. Scott Walker pees in every batch of cheese made in the entire state. Remember that when you are at the grocery store.

/he makes Jesse Ventura's run as gov in MN look regal and refined.

Walker is of the ALEC school of Governors: "You can't have benefits or a pension, but I can because I'm the Guv."

Kasich is doing pretty much the same thing.

Go Wisconsin, recall this cocksucker.

They can't till it's legal to do so. This January will mark his term in office for one year. THEN, it's Open Season on the nasty little hypocritical Koch-controlled goon.
