Seems it stands if I remember right he had 3 days to appeal. Upside he gets a bit of rest for United games. Still think a 3 match ban was a bit much.

Also anyone know the quality of Otelul Galati and if this match is going to be a challenge for Man United or a full on crushing win?

/Woo vidic is back!

Romanians can be tricky. Hell, getting there can be tricky. They were a surprise winner of of the league last year and have no experience in Europe in the last few years, so I don't think it'll be too bad for Manchester. Like most games vs United, they opposing team will be nervous and if they get an early one it should go their way.

On the other hand, Benfica only won 0-1 in Romania a few weeks ago.

/Looking forward to Napoli v Bayern to see how good Napoli really is.

You forgot the most important match of the day, Subby.

Yeah, My worries are with the back line and the team getting complacent . Not quite sure what is going wrong with the back aside from vidic being gone. Though it could also be the loss of van der sar.

Excited to see future Gunners Mario Götze, Eden Hazard, Yoann Gourcuff, and Yann M'Vila play.

What...stop laughing. Fark you, I can dream.

Here's hoping RvP continues his fine run of form.

I honestly feel bad for Arsenal at this point. Though I can see them pulling second place in their group. Tomorrows match however may hurt.

Arsenal will be fine, don't you worry. With all the shiat that's happened, that coont Na$ri, Cesc, the injuries, and the suspensions suspensions, 6 points out of 4th at this point is livable.

As for tomorrow? They went to Dortmund and got a draw, I think they can do the same at Marseille.

Or I my mind may have just finally broke.

Yeah I said may for a reason. It will be an interesting match and odds are the hardest of their group.

As it stands I don't see any of the EPL teams making it too far this year.

Can't say how much I'm looking forward to that Otelul Gelati - United match. Should be one for the ages.

Eh, the last ManU CL game was entertaining (albeit sloppy), even though on paper it looked like FoxSoccer was showing among the worst matchups on their main channel. Maybe lightning can strike twice.

/Kind of wishing I called in sick to work today--between Group A, Real/Lyon & Lille/Inter there could be some interesting matches today

Real Madrid vs. Lyon is the game I wish I could watch, especially considering their history in the Champions League. Lyons keeper is damn near an acrobat, on one of his good days you'll never get anything past him.

So many streams, which game to watch today..hrmmm

/taping a couple at home fortunately
//FSCs tape delay can get annoying sometimes

With no real rooting interest today I'm gonna go with watching City v the Yellow Submarines.

That group is pretty interesting

Double barreled own-goals in Group A to tie up both matches

Liverpool Reserves are down 0-1 at Rangers so far since I know y'all are on the edge of your seats with this one.

2011-10-18 04:04:48 PM
That ref at Napoli is pretty weak.

2011-10-18 04:40:19 PM
Man tough loss for Villareal, they almost put City in huge trouble in the group, but just couldn't hold on

2011-10-18 04:44:38 PM
What is it with german refs? The United - Otelul Galati was loaded with shiat calls. Vidic's red should have been a yellow. The most blatant hand ball in the box i've seen since the world cup was a yellow and a they ignore a hard hit on nani then yellow for a light hit on him. Both sides got screwed by the refs there. 7 yellows 2 red (one double yellow) in the second half.

2011-10-19 02:34:16 PM
What the hell was with the ref in the Bayern game?

Also.... OH GOD WHY? ON AN OWN GOAL? AAAAARRGGHHHH!
