Oddly, the whole sitting on her and beating her with a switch bit bothers me a hell of a lot more than the whole forcing her to don armor and take up the sword bit. That seems too sporting to really qualify as child abuse.

Dude is clearly a dick. However, had he not gone MILES too far, I can see the logic of "You want to go do meth even though I told you not to? Suit the hell up. We train." form of punishment.

That said, that wasn't training, that was assault, from the looks of it. I've been in that kind of armor and let me tell you, the best thing you can do, defensively, is make the other guy miss. The armor just keeps a hit from killing you. Once you are too tired to move well, it's time to run. If this guy continued passed that, he's just beating on her with a bat. Never mind that he won't break a bone, It's still assault.

What a dick sucker. Hope he gets ostracized from his "lifestyle"
