Erm, which still would only make it 21, of course.

/Was told there would be no math today.

2011-10-18 11:03:46 AM
Great selection... Cant think of any others that should be added off the top of my head. Well, outside of animated movies.

2011-10-18 11:07:47 AM
/looks.

That one...THAT ONE...THAT ONE TOO.

Epic.

They left off the best part of the Airplane punch, when Nielson goes back for seconds.

ArkAngel: 6 is Slap Shot, not the Mighty Ducks

Fallout Zone already pointed that out a few posts above. Mea culpa, it's been a while since I've seen either.

Anyone got an idea about #7, the bare-knuckle boxing one?

2011-10-18 11:26:53 AM
7 is Snatch

Allansfirebird: What, no love for McLintock?

For such a mediocre movie, it does have a couple of classic John Wayne moments.

/I'm not drunk.....yet!

#7 is brad pitt in a Guy Ritchie Film after Lock Stock and 2 Smoking barrels. The name of the movie is a synonomous with cat.

Not willing to type it here, rhymes with patch.

Hah!

I remember shooting beer out of my nose when I saw that.

I figured out a few punches that didnt make the list but like I said earlier, outside of animated movies, cant think of any. But the whole season 8 fight scene with Tex from Red vs Blue should be on the list. That whole fight was better then some of those punches.

Even the Meta / Doc punch was better then the Matrix one atleast

2011-10-18 11:31:08 AM
Both late and a pussy.

/its synonymous with cat
//just kidding by the way.

5. Punisher Warzone
6. Slapshot
7. Snatch
8. Hangover
9. Last Boy Scout

12. Blazing Saddles
13. Conan (Camel)
14. Rocky (II?)
15. Rocky IV (Drago)
16. Matrix
17. Back to the Future
18. Airplane
19. Some Friday 13th Movie (Jason Takes Manhattan?)

2011-10-18 11:32:35 AM
I know it's only a fantasy sequence, but the one where John Cusack, Jack Black and that other guy cold-cock Tim Robbins with the telephone and then stomp him to death in High Fidelity is pure farking magic.

Mike Tyson and Robin Givens?

Mel Gibson punching out one of the "Syndicate" goons with a roll of quarters in his hand in "Pay Back" is one of my favorites

Best part of that movie. And the fact that her character was credited as "Raving biatch"

Titor's Time Machine: Can't see this at work but Holly McClane's punch to Dick Thorneburg's face at the end of Die Hard better be on there.

It isn't, but it should be. It was a solid punch.

I wish I could find that Anna Torv "This" picture because ^^THIS^^ very much.

I love that movie

The only missing punch I can think of off the top of my head is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. "If I wanted a joke, I'd follow you into the john and watch you take a leak. Now are you gonna help me or are you gonna stand there like a slab of meat with mittens? "

2011-10-18 11:53:19 AM
No Undefeatable is regrettable.

2011-10-18 11:55:03 AM
Though it was more implied (we really only saw the guy draw his fist back and then the result), but I liked the one in Ace Ventura where he got the Miami Dolphins ring imprint on his forehead.

2011-10-18 11:58:59 AM
Not a punch, but I really love the snowball to the face in Dumb and Dumber.

2011-10-18 12:02:27 PM
Holly Gennaro / Mrs. McClane punching the reporter at the end.

"did you get that?"

As long as we're bringing weapons into this, might as well have a moment that had whole theaters cheering.

I'm disappointed that the punch John Travolta delivers to Dennis Farina in the opening scenes of Get Shorty is not on there. What a great movie.

If we can include weapons, how about, "You don't have a cousin Patty." ?

/The Blazing Saddles one was the best.
//Stryker punching out the religious fanatic without even really looking at him was the better Airplane! one.

2011-10-18 01:06:19 PM
Is it telling that two of them involved Brad Pitt getting punched in the face?

/ I felt like destroying something beautiful

Three O'Clock High

Jerry Mitchell knocks out Buddy Revell.

Ever since I noticed how the horse punch was done in Blazing Saddles, I can't watch it.
