I have a feeling this is part of the propaganda machine. Report his condition as worse than it really is, and when he comes back from it, he can look like the hero who "defeated cancer."

I'm thinking the cancer is real, and that the propaganda will be on the side of Fox News when they post some wharrgarbl about how this is all the fault of socialized medicine, and how Obama is sending a death squad to everyone's house unless you vote for a Republican.

Well there's your problem.

If that statistic is true then it has more to do with the climate and the peoples genetics than any healthcare they may or may not be receiving. Besides, I wouldn't trust any "official" stats from the Cuban government anymore than I would trust Lindsay Lohan with an eight-ball of coke.
