"Thank God I caught him. I've never had to do that before, and I hope I never have to do it again," Boston Fire Lt Glenn McGillivray told The Boston Globe. He said firefighters knew Judith Lamb wouldn't be able to hold on to the child until more help arrived, so they told her to drop him. Then they used a ladder to rescue her.

Pucker factor - 9.4/10

The Dolphins could use him, too.

It would have been better had he not spiked "the ball" and done an end zone dance afterwards.

I'm surprised Indy didn't hire the mom for tossing the kid first, at least she completed the pass.

With the Colts, isn't really an issue of not fumbling it? I mean, when the pass is good, it's usually caught. The problem lies in unnecessarily trying to get extra inches when you have a first down. Yes, Pierre, I'm talkin' about you.

What a fracking arsehole! Starting a fire in an attempt at suicide is so frelling callous and inconsiderate. If you want to die, either get help (to live/to die) or off yourself in a manner that doesn't destroy the lives of those around you. Sheesh.

The Firefighter, on the other hand, is awesome. Hopefully he has a good family to go home to.

This! ^^

Subby - The Colts could hire the best pass catcher in the history of the NFL and it still wouldn't do them any good since the QB still couldn't get him the ball!

And the Rams.

Football reference FAIL. They need the mom, not the firefighter. :P

The colts need a defense, not receivers. Even with manning, they'd be 0-6 with that porous defense. Painter hasn't sucked. His first TD was longer than any Manning has had in the NFL, and he has only thrown 1 pick in 115 pass attempts.

The colts have no one to blame for the QB debacle except themselves. Peyton never let the #2 take one snap, even in blowouts. Even in practice poutin Peyton won't let anyone take a single snap. Good planning, there!

mmmm...yes.

If only there were some way to refute this like pointing to all the seasons WITH Manning at the helm of the Colts and them having one of the worst defenses in the league and them having a winning record despite this and then comparing it to all the seasons WITHOUT Manning at the helm and them having the worst defense in the league and I dunno...compare the two.

Whats that you say? The colts have had the either the worst or one of the worst defenses in the league every single year that Manning has played and a winning record every year since 1999? What? They had the 32nd worst defense vs. the run and 29th worst overall the year they won the Superbowl?

I wonder what the difference was? God if they could only get Vanderjact back from the Toronto Argonauts!!!

Police said Mr Jabar does not live in the building, but may have been in a relative's apartment.

You just cost your buddy his deposit back... I bet he wishes you'd DIAF.

Also, how the fark do you cause a 6-alarm fire in a suicide attempt and just get 2nd degree burns???

Only if he is liquored up. The Steelers are already behind them in the schedule, so no worry about his usual choke job against them. And they are scoring about 10 points less per game this year, so you might be on to something.
