Cajnik: I saw The Soviet Story because of a Baltic farker's recommendation, I think King Corn might have been another.

I'll recommend Cesky Sen if you have a dark sense of humor to your (foreign) documentaries.

Foreign documentaries?

Like Hard Boiled right?

Mugato: Cythraul: I don't like Big Lebowski. There, I said it.

I don't like Monty Python, there I said it. I should get more flames than you.

Since all your taste is in your mouth, any ideas for dinner tonight?

Pretty much anything and everything based off comic books because that's the only art form that's worth anything or that most farkers recognize.

Soapy the Germ Fighter

Surf 2

Anything Troma

The Terror or Tiny Town

Freaks

House, by Obayashi

Eraserhead

"Soapy the Germ Fighter" is only a short, but well worth it. Little Billy thinks washing up is "sissy." However, a giant talking bar of soap appears in his bedroom one night and teaches him otherwise. Like I said, well worth it.

There are few things more annoying that people who post images with no explanation of wtf it is an image of or a descriptive file name. Especially in a thread where you are supposed to be suggesting things for other people to go watch!

As long as we're recommending terrible movies to people:

ecx.images-amazon.com

The DVD has a built in drinking game. There's literally a subtitle track glyph of a beer:

1 Drink whenever someone drinks.
1 Drink whenever someone combs their hair.
1 Drink when fire shoots out of anything.
1 Drink whenever something explodes.
1 Drink whenever a zombies head pops.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

"Freddy, as a younger man, I was a sculptor, a painter, and a musician. There was just one problem: I wasn't very good. As a matter of fact, I was dreadful. I finally came to the frustrating conclusion that I had taste and style, but not talent. I knew my limitations. We all have our limitations, Freddy. Fortunately, I discovered that taste and style were commodities that people desired. Freddy, what I am saying is: know your limitations. You are a moron. "

Do you really believe that or is this some form of projection where you accuse all farkers of living in their parent's basements?

Noticed Red Dwarf wasn't listed here.. The entire series (not a movie I guess), but entirely the type of humor all of you would appreciate.

NASAM: I watched Boondock Saints because of fark.

God what a steaming pile of shiat that movie is .

Boondock Saints is awesome. I know a lot of people that have watched it many times. Try it again, really. If you watch it again, I'll watch that Morgan Freeman typical Whoopi Goldbergesque "I'm an old and so much wiser than you black man (or woman)" pile of shiat Shawshank Redemption again. No, really, I will watch that shiat over again. I fell asleep the first time and decided not to judge it because I thought I must have been too tired or not in the right mood to appreciate what a fine film everyone said it was. It took a second viewing to realize just what a waste of space that movie is.

Countdown to Liquor Day

Only movie I can think of that might meet most Farker's "high standards" in theatrical performance.

2011-10-17 06:37:26 PM
What movies have I seen because of fark?

Well none, according to FARK every movie ever farking made sucks, somehow.

What I learned was the more people on fark who say a movie is bad, means that it is probably really good. That's how I do it. If all the internet tough guys that have never accomplished anything remotely interesting in their own lives thinks something sucks so bad, I'll usually like it.

2011-10-17 06:39:02 PM
Sticky Hands: I'm going to third that.

Even though for a few short minutes, I managed to merge it with The Way of the Samurai.

I had a rock and roll Forest Whitaker snarking kids, tending birds and fighting Rob Zombie in my head.

The Way of the Samurai is boss. It's worth recommending for the RZA soundtrack ALONE.

Mugato: Made me nostalgic for the film 'Gymkata'.

*snert*

Ain't that the truth?

madgordy: would not have watched "Manos hands of Fate" if it had not been on MST3K

You watched it in the best format possible. No shame in that.
