So I usually hate these types of poorly shot over-prepared videos. But this one made me oddly fulfilled to see the look on the a$$hat managers face. That was worth the rest of it.

These things are really only cool when they're for real.

I was amazed that with only a few frames of video, that boss managed to look like the world's biggest douchebag.

Manager seems like a phenomenal jerk. Seems to me like only the most spineless & servile bootlicker in the shop would get "THAT reference on future resumes." Looked like it was worth it to me!

Some people seem to be hatin on the quitter. I'd like to think I'm a good-natured manager with a sense of humor. I'd have to shake the quitter's hand, at least. Hey man, I'm from New Orleans -- a brass band is never a bad thing in your place of business.

I felt myself drifting toward a "this is ridiculous attention whoring" conclusion and, somehow, the boss-man (a.k.a. Ron Howard's long lost, peevish twin) turned it around for me. I despised him in the span of about 4 seconds and as a result, enjoyed the payoff far more than I otherwise would have.

Everyone jumping to conclusions about the boss being a jerk (presumably because he told a bunch of people in a marching band trespassing through the employee-only areas to leave) seems to not see the obvious asshattery of a guy who brings a freakin' marching band with him to turn in his resignation.

Clearly an attention whore with a narcissistic streak is cool and the boss is the jerk? Anyone consider perhaps what the guy may have done before that ended with he and his boss having words such that he's of the opinion that his boss is an asshole? Could it have been anything like...maybe bringing a marching band to quit his job? I'm guessing his attitude goes a little further than just taping a video so he could embarrass his soon-to-be ex boss.

Wonder if he's thought through how this will affect him getting other jobs in the future. Nonexistent impulse control much? He's basically just posted a huge example of his self-centered attitude problem so any interviewer who even Googles his name will run across this video.

That guy looks like Pedro from Real World meets John Mayer.

Right way to do this: be several months, or even years, into another, much better job, before posting this to YouTube.

And, yeah, I'm kind of seeing douche on both sides here. (I thought the sound made when two douches collide would be "Doooosh!" I was not expecting an oom-pah band.)
