I have been terribly disappointed that I haven't been able to watch a single phase of RWC besides the Eagles game that was broadcast a few weeks ago. I'm not going to shell out $25 per game for ppv.

You're a US American, the RWC is on Universal Sports. Pretty much every system carries it (for free) here in America.

Farking France. I'm not even mad that they won, I'm mad that for the next six farking days, I'm going to have to hear my roommate talk about how "At every World Cup and Six Nations, France have THE GAME where they are lights-out and you can't beat them. It doesn't matter how good you are, you cannot beat them. And after that, they're shiat, but it happens once every tournament, they have THE GAME. And what scares everybody is that it hasn't happened yet."

He has previously mentioned how he "could stand to see those French farkers nucleared off the face of the Earth" ever since they knocked out Ireland in 2003, and that he threw his TV out of the window that day.

dcfc510: Do what I have been doing, watch them on justin.tv. You have to play around a bit and find a stream that works (you may have to listen to russian commentary), but otherwise you get to watch them live.

p2p got shut down a while back and that is where I have been catching most of my rugby fix. Thanks for the heads up. I scanned Dish Network a week or two ago and the only rugby I could find was PPV. I'll look again.

I can see that. Finally got back to the Old Country for the first time when my uncle died a couple of years ago. Neat area. One Grandparent an both parents graduated from Ridgewood HS. My Grandfather and Father were both past Commanders of the Ho-Ho-Kus VFW. Mom taught at Franklin. Mom and Dad emigrated to Texas in 1961. I really need to spend more than a day or two up there and hope to do so.

Nick The Eloquent: Since I'm in the Philippines I get to watch the RWC on Star Sports out of Hong Kong. One of the commentators said the following about Quade Cooper: "There's a man terribly lacking in competence right now." This was said after Quade's 4th or 5th kicking mistake in a row.

I wish that American commentators painted such a colorful picture. Instead we'd get "In the National Football League, you have to put your kicks through the uprights, or you won't have a job in the NFL for very long."
