Now that's the way to demonstrate your agility and situational awareness - get hit indirectly, while on the sidelines, by two other folks in a game you're allegedly watching, and then get your leg farked up because you're on the bottom of that pile.

Don't stand so close to the sideline. It's not complicated.

Feel better soon, Coach.

So they need to activate a practice squad player to coach the team while he's on IR?

Such a shame the coach of a dirty team gets his legs taken out.

Shooting the messenger doesn't invalidate the message. Dirty team, dubious coach.

Pereira explained and explained and explained why the flags went the way they did and didn't that game, but people just don't want to listen. Don't biatch how the game's for pussies now and "in my day" blah blah blah and then turn around and biatch about them.

Bucs can even top THIS tonight. Tampa Bay DB coach Jimmy Lake tore his patella tendon celebrating an int...And Ronde Barber, according to Pewter Report, was COACHING the secondary while playing in the second half.

'Cuz Ronde is just that awesome.

If JoePa had this injury, they would have just taken him out behind the shed Old Yeller-style...

This is probably the reason the bucs won the game.

That's pretty badass. He certainly has a better chance than his brother, that's for sure.

JoePa didn't tear an MCL. Last I checked, tearing an MCL was a worse injury than just a broken leg or broken knee that JoePa has gotten.

Facts, how the fark do they work?

WTF does that even mean? Can you even try to back up the assertion that the Saints are a "dirty" team? This ain't Pittsburgh, Donnie. There are rules.

Oh wait, you're from Minnesota. Still butthurt and blaming the Saints for your team's glaring fark-ups during the game? You got a beat-down and even then it came down to a field goal. Deal with it.

Brees has demonstrated that, in a pinch, he's perfectly capable of calling his own plays and running the offense without Payton.

There were much bigger issues in the loss yesterday. Brees was off with his throws, both lines got outplayed, and there is a large drop off at linebacker after Vilma.

That sounds really, really painful. :( Was his headset on the whole time? 'Cause if that had been me, I'm pretty sure I'd have busted my QB's eardrums.

/Payton's tougher than I am, obviously

This. Crying about a game three years ago because your ancient QB got raped and your clueless head coach did nothing about it does not make the Saints a "dirty team". Get over the butthurt, already.

Didn't this exact same thing happen to Mike Tice a few years back? He's lucky that pencil behind his ear didn't stab him in the brain. The Vikings aren't so much dirty as just awful. Really, really awful.

Anytime I think of the bucs I think back to the year Katrina hit. One of the songs played in the stadium that day when they played New Orleans was "Rock You Like a Hurricane." It was taken down hastily, but it was up long enough.

/too soon?

Cousin Sal suggesting during the BS Report that NBC do a split screen at some point during the Saints/Colts Sunday night game of Peyton in a neck brace and Payton on crutches was pretty much gold, I will say that.

It'd have to be old pics :/ Peyton seemed fine when he was in the booth during the LSU/Tennessee game.

/given all the recruiting restrictions, how is it legal for Peyton Manning, who funds several projects for the Tennessee team, to go on during a broadcast and talk about how much he loved his time at Tennessee and how he visits there frequently?
