They fight like cats and dogs and will beat the shiat out of each other if allowed. Just like me and my sisters. That's why.

Their relationship is fraught and difficult? That's heavy.

I heard Dave Davies once in an interview.

I thought it was a girl. I'm guessing Ray used to tease him and called him Lola.

Love the Kinks, and would really love to see them together again. Even an hour would be cool. But I don't think it will ever happen. Meanwhile, here's Dave doing Death of a Clown in 2002....

Well, that and the fact that Pete Quaife is dead, sort of means that we'll never get a *true* Kinks reunion.

"and Dire Straits was AWESOME."

Right you are. Every album was killer, IMO. Always keep hoping they'll get back together & do some new stuff. Don't think it'll happen tho. :-(

As much as I love the Kinks - and I do - I'm happy without a reunion.

I'm sure they will all take that into consideration.

You f*cking tard.

Also, Dave and Phil Alvin from the Blasters.

I'd give a reconstituted Kinks a chance, of course, but my first thought whenever I see some long-since-split bandmates talk about how they won't get back together is "Gee, guess we're lucky that you were playing so close to that recording equipment the first time."

Seriously, who cares? Need I remind you of the Blondie reunion?
