Nice imagery with the donuts.

That's a pretty sweet pay off. Coming off as a door mat in all his cameos this would have been great in the actual movie instead of just a special.

Agent Coulson is totally cool. He's completely unflappable. Nothing phases him. Like when he tells Tony before the press conference "This isn't my first rodeo." he means it.

Usually the audio is way too loud. Not so this time.

I don't think it would have worked as well for his character development.

With out the Wasp and Ant Man, it's not the avengers.

Or the pacing of Thor during that point of the movie.

2011-10-16 05:01:37 PM
This is the point. He is the guy who takes care of things, gets things done. If necessary, he can get other things done, but that is not his job.

I really like that.

Didn't know about these one shots. Cool. But what's up with the other one, 'The Consultant'? Someone wants the general from the Hulk to release the Abomination and Caulson and the man he's speaking to don't want him to be released so they are going to send Tony Stark to screw it up?

Why would someone want Abomination released? And why would the general say yes? And why wouldn't S.H.I.E.L.D. want him released? Something to do with drawing out Dr. Banner, perhaps?

Hey I am a geek. Nerds have practical knowledge. Geeks have worthless obsessions. There is a difference

I had that problem, too. All volume levels cranked and I *still* had to turn up my speakers.

Still that was pretty sweet.

By far one of my favorite characters from the whole series of movies.

Thanks for the link!

Well, it may, MAY mind you, have some minor modifications.

How exactly does that connect Iron Man 2 and Thor? Because he was driving in a desert?

Cool scene though.

What European country does this scene take place in? I mean the clerk's a hot chick, and the robbers are white. But they have guns. I'm confused.

The signboard the car drives past in the beginning has Puente Antiguo x miles, which is the New Mexico town Thor was set in in the Earth scenes.

SuperSeriousMan: Rozotorical: With out the Wasp and Ant Man, it's not the avengers.

Even us comic book nerds are fine with these two being divorced from the Avengers mythos (at least, most of us it seems). One or the other havent been core Avengers or even alive for years and often are absent for large stretches of time before then. In the meantime the fans have made it pretty clear the core of the team is Cap, IM, and Thor.

As long as this fan gets the triumvirate I'm happy, the choice of additional members is largely icing on the cake.

Seriously. That shiat is really starting to annoy me. I wish NoScript would let you mouse-over a blocked element and tell you which domain it was coming from.

Cookies and scripts that gather data on you, mostly for ad-related purposes.

Not a lot of reason for concern in terms of viruses or anything like that, but still an invasion of privacy. For my part, I just don't like giving up that sort of info on the sly. Makes me feel used. Most sites have at least a few running, but 15 is a lot.

Extensions like Ghostery and Better Privacy help to combat them.

the opposite of charity is justice: Even us comic book nerds are fine with these two being divorced from the Avengers mythos (at least, most of us it seems). In the meantime the fans have made it pretty clear the core of the team is Cap, IM, and Thor.

Avengers fans generally totally disagree and think divorcing specifically the Wasp (and/or killing her off) is the worst thing to happen to the team. She's the farking heart of the team and always has been. Hank is much, much less important.

You know, he already called the cops, got a GPS tracer on their cars, and they would show up 35 seconds after his lights are no longer visible due to a 3 deg. dip in the road .7 miles ahead.
Both of the perps are going to be unconscious for 10-12 min minimum, and one has a severely wounded foot. Plus the clerk has a firearm.
Sheesh!

About the only thing I can complain about is that the credits are as long as the video itself.

Other than that: squee.

Personally, I'm not using the data. Honestly, I'd much rather give them the data and have them plug it into a decision-engine so that I don't have to bother thinking about my likes or preferences. I'm not that interesting a person, and I'd rather have a machine handle the boring parts of being me.

To be fair, Agent Coulson is fairly low on the totem pole where company cars are concerned.

His boss gets to pick from a higher shelf:
