Ya, err... I'm not clear that's a real good idea. A lot of insects can carry nematodes and other parasites that are perfectly happy to switch to a human host. You really want to cook them first, if you're going to eat them. Six Flags may be in for some nuclear lawsuits.

No picture, no video, just four sentences that let us know someone in the world is eating a cockroach. Thanks for that

As a frequent SF guest, I can tell ya that no one is forced to eat anything buggy. There's always an opt-out. I've seen people do it, though. Yuck! My local SF did this about 3 years ago. It was fun, but it was only done that one year.

Nematode, smegmatode.....its the legs getting stuck in your teeth that would throw me off. Not to mention the snap and squirt of the first bite.

They used roaches because nobody gives a care about insects. Now if it had been newborn kittens or something else cute and fuzzy, even if it was a joke advertisement, there would have been a huge public outcry

i think we are all missing the important thing in this article,. they had diffrent flavors. how do you flavor a cockroach? by force feeding it the flavorant, or a dipping sauce prehapse, maybe maranade, but wouldnt that fall under animal crulity? i have often had dreams of growing pigs in a vat of syrup but alas its 'mean' to the pig.

At least kittens' legs wouldn't get stuck in your teeth (much). Probably still squirt nasty juice on the first bite when consumed raw though.
