Most people, including the poor, pay more taxes as a percentage of their income than the rich. If you don't understand what I'm saying open ANY college economics textbook and educate yourself in how exactly excise, payroll, tariffs, and VATs, hurt those with less income. They are all either regressive in nature or have negative long-term effects, but guess what? Education is something the right doesn't have nor want!

I'm pretty sure the entire "I am the 53%" tumblr site is a false flag from people who support the OWS.

Nothing has made me really understand what the OWS folks were fighting for until I read all of the heartbreaking stories on "I am the 53%" about people who are working two jobs at 60 to 70 hours a week and can't afford basic health care or an education.

And, every one of the 53% folks takes care to point out that they own nothing of value, and they're teetering on the economic knife edge. A serious illness would plunge them and their entire families into financial ruin. Heck, car repairs would probably plunge most of those people into a hole that would take them six months to climb out of.

There is no possible way that the 53% tumbler site are from folks who support the current status quo. It's impossible that anyone could be so beaten down and broken that they would want their children to live a life like that.
