I make a mean Grog, and not the Don the Beachcomber Navy Grog (which isn't bad but not authentic) but melt the scurvy off yer bones old school pirate grog.

- Two fingers deep of EXTRA DARK Whalers rum
- Half can of 7-Up
- Juice from half a fresh lemon or lime
- Fill the rest of the glass with ice

No idea what it's called, but it's DELICIOUS.

2) Lightly crunched ice
3) A healthy pour of rum, your brand is fine, as long as it's an anejo rum (aged rum, Bacardi makes a decent anejo for rum n00bs))
4) Coca-Cola, the real stuff, made with cane sugar
5) Dash of real vanilla extract
6) Squirt or two of fresh lime juice
7) Dash of bitters

stir gently to combine

I like my D&S with lime, which makes it a bit creamier, and all the more dangerous.

Glass of ice, healthy dose of Sailor Jerry, top with diet cream soda.

You can drink those all day long.

Regular cream soda is OK, but the sugars add up too quickly.
