His first bump should be re-creating Owen Harts rafter stunt.

He was involved in ECW for a storyline. I hope he has a budget, wrestlers are known to milk the fark out of a promoter. See Hulk Hogan in TNA.

Whiney or not, he's still one of the greatest guitarists to ever live. The singing leaves a lot to be desired though. The man has the cash to fund a stupid hobby, good on him.

/He played Starla at the Ogden in Denver last week. Best. Song. Ever.

"near the end"?

As soon as Hogan came in in '94, that was the way of WCW.

Hell, Lanny Poffo was paid some astronomical sum and never wrestled a single match.

"Resistance Pro Wrestling" sounds like a bad band name.

"Homer Simpson, smiling politely"

Any chance we can get Billy Corgan in the FWC?

/It's still real to him, dammit.

Hey, if it means a payday for the boys that doesn't involve doing stupid, crazy shiat and a place to work, it can't be all bad. There should be some decent talent between Milwaukee and Chicago to where you don't have to rely solely on booking too many names.

Besides this thread, that's the only place I've ever heard his name.

(So it isn't Corrigan? Live and learn...)

The headliners are a few wrestlers WWE stupidly cut, so it looks like they have a couple decent names.

Davy Boy Jr., Teddy Hart, Raven, The (current) Sheik, Colt Cabana...

Why WWE cut Little Davy Boy, but kept Perfect Jr, I'll never know.

Came to say that, left happy.

And despite all his egotistical decisions, he's still played everyday on my iPod. Like him or not, he's talented.

Little Davy Boy's dad was a fan of the "poop in bags, crowns" rib, BTW.

Forgot that Raven was involved. From another article, it looks like he'll be more of a behind the scenes type.

Thanks for the link. Out of the guys that I've seen, it looks like a pretty solid roster with some good indy talent. Danny Dominion's solid, as is Arik Cannon. Although he's known for slice 'n' dice, Necro Butcher is a helluva worker without the plunder. Cabana's awesome. And you might remember Cheerleader Mellisa from her run under the burqua with Kong in TNA. Gertner always cracked me up. This could be an interesting promotion...

Wasn't Perfect Sr. also a fan of Ortoning Crowns?

It does look like a solid indy list with some major minor WWE names sprinkled in. And, The Sheik was just recently NWA and AWA World Champion.

Now, granted, I know that means about as much today as the replica belts I have sitting on my bookcases, but he did have the titles.

Since Corgan probably has fark you money, I wonder if that means this little group will stick around for a while?

Why is this in the entertainment tab? Go back to the sports tab. This place is for Kardashians only.

I haven't heard that one. I heard about Davey Boy from a pretty reputable source close to the alleged defecation.

The story I had read or heard somewhere on the 'net was that Perfect Sr. was part of Ortoning Lawler's crown right after Lawler came into the WWF in '93.

Of course, according to internet smark lore, everyone from the Undertaker to Steve Keirn to probably Harvey Whippleman has used the King's crown as a throne, so... your version is probably more true than what's floating around the 'net.

Of course, on some shoot video (Honky and Raven, IIRC), they mentioned a memo being sent around about not crapping in the crown anymore. But, this is Honky and Raven who were telling the story...

There was an anti-pooping edict that went down, from what I heard was triggered by a dump in an early diva's bag allegedly perpetrated by one who is well known for cruel ribs.

Common ribs include(d): shaving someone's eyebrow while passed out, gigging someone with a car key, gigging someone while passed out, shaving half of someones facial hair while passed out. Most innocent ribs include hiding someones bag in the locker room. Or stories with rats. I've seen and been a part of many ribs, including getting ribbed. None of which involved poop.

While I generally find him talented and very original I kind of like the idea that he's doing something different than the accepted norm.

It may suck, but at least he's doing something he wants to do.

I love Billy, despite all his craziness...err rage.
/Even saw them live after Jimmy left (again), and they put on a great show.
