But I agree that Carolina is going to take the Falcons to the woodshed this weekend. It's Newton's first ever NFL game in the town that he grew up in, and Steve Smith, who is having a great year already, almost always puts up his best numbers of the season against Atlanta.

You mean unsubstantiated rumors like players admitting they got paid? I think the NCAA is covering for their cash cow now, they had to act like they were investigating since they had to punish USC for their obvious fark ups and even gave pete a heads up that punishment was coming so he could jump ship.

Cam was a little biatch and his father tried to get paid, those are facts, but they just couldnt prove auburn did anything wrong, so I guess thats a win for the team, it still doesnt change the fact they will still be a doormat for at least 3 more years.

Yeah I dont see that happening, the falcons could lose but then again with a defense worse that atlanta's it may be a whooping the other way, atlanta already contained the pro version of cam in vick earlier this year so thinking they cant do it to him is kind of crazy.

Last season I decided to see what it would cost me to see San Diego @ Seattle. For obvious reasons, I'm glad I didn't go, but the game ticket itself was about $120. Then there was the round trip trains from and to Portland, the cost of a cab to get home after the train, the cost of beers at the game, and the realization that a Seahawks game will never not be shown in Portland. I'm glad I watched it from home. Unless I win an all expenses paid trip to an NFL game it's just not worth the cost.

I'm glad my family took me to a lot of Bills games as a kid. I can't imagine how a parent/aunt/uncle could afford to take two kids to a game anymore.

I still can't believe my tickets to the January 3, 1993 Bills/Oilers playoff game were under $40/each. I don't think we've seen THAT MUCH inflation in the past 18 years.
