Yougottabeshiattinme, even the extreme hotness of Minka Kelly couldn't make that show watchable. I suffered through the first ep and gave up half way through the second.

Too soon after Farrah's death, IMO.

That said, it seems to be getting harder and harder for network television to compete with channels like HBO, FX, AMC, etc. I can't remember the last hour-long drama I got into that was on NBC/FOX/ABC/CBS - West Wing, maybe?

Mrs. Lajotu likes Good Wife, so I guess that counts.

I'm not thrilled with it so far but I haven't given up yet. I'd think you'd have to work pretty hard to fark up a show with a big budget, dinosaurs, and time travel but they seem to be trying pretty hard.

The problem was, they only had three chicks...Maybe if they had a force of, I don't know, mabye 5, that could work. Of course they'd all have to be foxes. One could be a seductress, one could be a martial arts expert. One could have a grandfather who told her a lot of corny jokes and she could work one of the jokes into each episode.

I watched the second episode and I had to turn it off after fifteen minutes. There was no chemistry between any of the cast, and they literally just picked some hot looking dude to be Bosley, just to appeal to the female crowd.

This show reminded me of "Undercovers" with its "sexpionage" bullshiate.

See, the problem is, we're in the age of the internet. You can log onto your computer at any time and watch naked women sucking, farking, sucking and farking, fisting, pissing, squirting, lactating, lesbianism, threesomes, orgies, gangbangs, creampies, fatties, asians, latinas, cougars...

So, knowing all of this, who really wants to watch some mindless jiggle TV with clothed women? In 1978, you had no choice if you wanted to masturbate. You'd even go as far as watching Happy Days and hoping Joanie was in her Cheerleader outfit, or trying to quickly rub one out to Maude while Adrienne Barbeau was onscreen, hoping like hell you finished before they switched to a scene with Bea Arthur and Esther Rolle. It's Hollywood brah: They'd rather piss money away on a remake of an old TV show than try a new concept. They caught this from the movies: They'd also would rather piss away money on a remake than actually think of a new idea.

Also, you think a movie like "Inception" would've seen the light of day if Nolan hadn't raked in the big bucks on the two Batman movies? That's another thing: If you've brought in big money for the suits before, they'd gladly listen to whatever new idea you have because they know you're a cash cow. Why do you think Cameron got away with that abortion called "Avatar?"

I actually watched this; not bad when there's nothing else on that I like. I see a lot of people saying they didn't like it.. only one or two say why.
There were a few things I didn't like. The blond chick was extra awful, Minka Kelly wore WAY too much clothing. The worst thing was the pacing. They were throwing so much stuff at the show. Bosley was in love with Charlie's dead daughter, he screwed around with the CIA, Minka's character grew up in an orphanage and saw all the nuns and boys killed while all the girls were taken into sex slavery. The cuban jail warden just... let them go? what?
I never saw the original show- did they do that then?
