Seems almost a little too convenient that they're bringing up 9/11 to show how humble and honest he is, even though he was just standing there.

If I found needles in my food (knowing that i'm not the kind to put them there myself and then forget) I would have a hard time not shooting my way to the cooking area and jamming the needle sammich down the cook's throat.
