I love that they use the title "Real American Jobs Act". It's a nice subtle allusion to Sarah Palins campaign contention that some Americans aren't "Real".

It's a jobs *COUGH*Taxgiveaway*cough* bill for the "real" Americans. Everybody else is out of luck.

Eh, the fact that they're in there doesn't mean that's all that's in there. Apparently there's a budget balancing schedule of some kind and something to encourage expansion of domestic energy concerns as well.

Basically, I think I'm going to hold off deriding this until the bill actually comes out.

Sounds about as dumb as the President's jobs plan. Both parties had a role in stuffing the stimulus with garbage that increased our debt and didn't create jobs. Now they want to double down on their respective stupidity. This must be what America deserves, two corrupt parties chock full of incompetence and FAIL.

Regulations keep unemployment at an artificially high level during the good times. During the bad times, the bigger driver of unemployment is lack of demand. Republicans are certainly a one-trick pony.
