Brown is going down.

Elizabeth Warren will throw things at your children. Hard things. Things like rocks.

Elizabeth Warren--bad for children, bad for America.

She should run an ad that shows someone literally grasping for some straws.

ROFL

If this is the best they've got, it's going to be smooth ride to the Senate.

So this is the nationwide GOP line going into 2012, it seems:

The dems are too divisive.

Well, how will that work when you can clearly demonstrate the anti-gay, anti-women, anti-poor stance of the GOP? If anything, that ad and this message would serve to make everyone say "Yeah, it is the US vs the GOP"

You know, with different music (soaring instead of scary) that could be a pro-Warren commercial.

I was thinking the same thing

Warren: "It's time we stopped pampering Wall Street."

GOP Spin Machine: "Elizabeth Warren wants to deny rich children disposable diapers!"

--

Warren: "The lower and middle classes are being crushed by the rich."

GOP Spin Machine: "Warren says rich people are fat!"

This could be a caption contest ala the Palin/Biden debate. But what's a concise way to submit it?

You'd also probably also have to change the "scary" opening.
It appears to be a clip from a TV interview. So you could, you know, just use the original clip -- instead of editing it so it's shaky, with the wavy lines, and random zooming in and out.

Oooh - scary! Clips of Elizabeth Warren must make your TV reception go bad! Must be a post-apocalyptic future or something.

I don't know why they're even trying. Brown is going to lose. This is Massachusetts. We're going with the marginally intelligent candidate.

I love the end where it goes "Harvard Professor Elizabeth Warren" as if it is a negative in Massachusetts. It's not like there's a series of publicly available polls results on the very topic which show the exact opposite (new window) or anything.

It's wrong to put some targets on a map, because it encourages violence. It's OK to threaten to throw rocks at your opponents though.

LOL. Well, in a sense, it could be a "bad" thing. Harvard's where Bush got his MBA. They could run an ad like that if they're feeling especially cheeky. "Elizabeth Warren taught at Harvard, the same institution that granted George W. Bush his MBA."

It would be like the Simpsons when Sideshow Bob ran for mayor.

Mayor Quimby supports revolving door prisons. Mayor Quimby even released Sideshow Bob -- a man twice convicted of attempted murder.

[scene shows prisoners leaving on escalator and ski lift]

Can you trust a man like Mayor Quimby?

Vote Sideshow Bob for mayor.

The targets thing was a complete stretch. This, however, is not:

You need to hang together since it's easier to hang you all in a group than do you one at a time.

OH SNAP! Well, unless they make the rope too short.

While Warren would certainly be a great addition to the Senate, it's a matter of beating Brown, and I'm not entirely sure she would be able to.

Stupidmitter, the ad didn't accuse her of throwing actual rocks. It highlights the fact that the "factory builder" (at whom she is very clearly throwing metaphorical rocks) is said to be "in the wrong," when in fact there is nothing wrong with building a factory, as well as her penchant for claiming that "we" built stuff that "they" took advantage of. Her rant was really quite silly and childish, even for a Harvard professor, and her feet should be held to the fire for her adolescent level of thinking on economic matters, as well as her blatant divisiveness and pandering.

A Republican complaining a Democrat is being too divisive and pandering?

That's the best they've got? If they wanted to be slick they would have cut everything after her saying "No one in this country got rich by themselves." That could have made her look bad. But her point is perfectly coherent and she's tough as nails.

And fix the fake tracking problems already. It makes it look like your shiatty 529 can't afford anything better than broken VHS.

You're right because SHE HATES BUSINESSES AND CORPORATION AND WANTS THEM ALL DESTROYED!!!! -- Well if you are a RETARD you thinks that is what she wants.

Actually she just wants them to pay their fair share, not to destroy them like you and the GOP are pretending.

They can't do that. They are clearly pandering to the last hold outs of people still using beta max and VHS or as I like to call REAL and TRUE AMERICANS!

I mean if they are going to cut up ever word she says and modify the video to try to make her scary they might as well of just super imposed Osama Bin Ladeden on here and splic her together saying "I love to kill babies!!" or some such!.
