Corporate wealth belongs to the shareholders. A corporation that neither distributes dividends to shareholders nor reinvests accumulated wealth in the company is violating the spirit, if not the letter, of the law and their charter.

Funny, Chevron is the one stock I bought this year that didn't go down. I'm not complaining. They DO pay a pretty nice dividend, actually.
