integration with facebook

One account to rule them all

Wait till the facebook charges start racking up on your paypal account. Want to buy that new tractor for your farm in farmville? Better look at the fine print on it; it's gonna cost you $2/mo.

ebay/paypal is the scummiest online presence there is.

You mean Facebook.

That headline is spot-on. I gave someone a TF sponsorship last night and Paypal responded by sending me a smarmy email telling me that they had limited my account to "check with you to make sure that no one has logged in to your account without your permission". But this wasn't just a matter of having me look at a list of recent logins and transactions, then click a 'looks OK' button. Instead I had to change my password, enter a new set of security questions, and verify my postal address by waiting for them to snail-mail me a letter. Now, granted, I did move a few months ago but if they were going to insist on confirmation then why did they not do it when I changed the address in my profile?

Fark PayPal. And fark eBay. Worst experience I've ever had dealing with those thieves.

I'd be willing to make a wager with Drew regarding a vast spike in totalfark signups if he'd allow purchases through another carrier. From what I can tell, not only from myself but from several liters, this seems to be THE major obstacle.

I would be one of those. I'll sign up for a year as soon as I can do so through some other company. I would also be willing to pay a bit extra (like 5%) to offset any higher processing fees that might be charged.

I just throw shiat away now.

Trying to sell it on ebay/paypal usually just results in me losing my shipping costs, cuz the asshole who bought my things waits 14 days and files a complaint that I never shipped it. Paypal will NEVER protect the seller. The buyer always gets their money back if they file a complaint.

Add me to the list of people who will never use paypal again. Thieves, plain and simple.

Fark Pay Pal

Thanks but no thanks Paypal. I'll just keep my full rights using my credit card rather than succumb to your draconian policies and less than satisfying protection.
