Weird, Cain shows a lot more staying power. Looks like he's going for the double dip.

Well, in 1980 there were 3000 Elvis impersonators in the world.

In 1985 there were 15000 Elvis impersonators in the world.

In 1989 there 35000 Elvis impersonators in the world.

At this rate by 2100 everyone in the world will be an Elvis impersonator.

Flavor of the week. The conservatives will eventually tire of him, especially if he continues that hip "black talk".

This and this

32% said they will vote for Cain. 68% will never, ever vote for a black guy under any circumstance. The whole point to letting the economy tank and holding back their money rather than creating new jobs is to get the black guy out of the White House. Replace him with another black guy? You might as well expect them to vote for a woman.

Back to square one.

Well let's see. Perry is dead. Bachmann is dead. Gingrich is dead. Christie is out. Palin is out. Daniels is out. Ryan is out. Trump is out. Pawlenty is out. Santorum and Huntsman are physically incapable of deviating from 2% support each, no matter what happens. Paul is physically incapable of deviating from 10% support, no matter what happens. Romney is incapable of deviating from 22% support, no matter what happens.

Something has got to give. Not sure what they'll do once Cain accidentally shiats his newly made bed, as all the previous "Not Mitt Farking Romney" candidates have done before him.

Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methushael; and Methushael begat Lamech.

Lamech/Methushael 2012!

Don't tell me "9-9-9" is really resonating with people. I know it sounds catchy and I know it sounds simple but every complex problem has a solution that is clear, simple, and wrong. Between this and his "three-page bills" comment Cain sounds like he wants to make public policy no more complex than a...well...pizza menu.

Considering that most people are stupid and ignorant, and they believe that there is nothing that is more complex than they can personally understand, this is a major selling point for Cain's "policy ideas".

Rick Perry raised a lot of money this past quarter and remember he was only a candidate for half the quarter. A good debate performance or two and he will be back in the lead. I've thought ever since Obamacare passed that Romney will not be nominated and I haven't seen anything to change my opinion.

Sounds like the Derpicrats are getting a wee bit nervous over Cain....awfully hard to play the Race Card on a black man

Cain will be the nominee......he is the only one who will be able to keep the conservative majority of the GOP...while not losing the liberal RINO minority. With the recent "not running" announcement by Chris Christie....the GOP RINO faction of the party has pretty much given up after the flameout of Rick Perry

dumbobruni: a foreign policy question at the next debate could do it

This. So far in the debates, since he hasn't been considered a contender, he has gotten just a couple of token questions specifically designed to allow him to respond "999!!!"--essentially for entertainment value. That won't be true at the next debate, and it will immediately become clear that he's "got nothin'".

2011-10-07 02:01:08 PM
Interesting link, dumbro. Looks like Romney's going to be the nominee. That oinestly doesn't worry me. We could do worse than have a liberal republican in the White House. Yup, I have absolutely no problem with a liberal republican in the White House. I can live with a a liberal republican in the White House. There's nothing wrong with having a LIBERAL republican in the White House.

Romney seems to be getting by with Romneycare so far but Perry has touched the third rail. You don't tell a bunch of bigots that they're heartless if they don't want to help illegal Mexicans. You could hear the pick-up trucks back firing all over the South afer that one.

That was a huge mistake but it's a hissy fit that they will get over. He's got 3 months to make up for it and I think his apostasy will be tolerated if he has some good debate performances and the GOP's delusional voters think he has a chance against Obama.

Yes, yes, thanks to the magic of repetition, you've learned how to spell the word "liberal". We're all very proud of you. Now how about working on the word "honestly"?
