I once had a temp job at a tech company, where one of the senior management was a somewhat confused but autocratic micro-manager, that had the nickname "Crunch" as in "look busy, Crunch is coming!'

I asked a co-worker how he got the nickname.

He name was actually "Morgan", so people initially were referring to him as "Catain Morgan" but I think that this inferred too much respect, so it mutated to "Cap'n Crunch".who was a closer match to his actual personality.

From there it jusst mutated again to "Crunch".

This isn't Cap'n Crunch Ice Cream. This is vanilla ice cream with bits of Cap'n Crunch in it. And putting breakfast cereal in ice cream is not new. Taking something old and writing about it on your blog doesn't make it new.
