If you really want to throw off border guards-- come from Mexico with a partially realistic looking passport and speak English-- you're now in the 99.999% of all border crossings from Mexico into the US.

WorldCitizen: Jesus farking Christ we are becoming a police state in the US. If anything, we should be watering down the border between the US and Canada. There is no reason that our costumes and immigration forces cannot work together as we do for our air defense through NORAD, and our border be opened up much like the borders between European states.

Actually, a pretty good reason for immigration not to work together is because Canada should not have to submit its citizens to the severe scrutiny as the US does its own. Granted, US citizens shouldn't have to either, but how about the US fix that little issue, then we can talk about cooperation.

If Canada was willing but defensive, there's no way the US would lighten its security measures to get Canada on board. It would bring Canada down its level, and then we'd be subject to the TSA, and other shenanigans, here too.
