1. Moss
2. Roy

Try the first ep of the second season. Think it's the best they've done.

Overall, it's not all that brilliant, but it has moments.

Season 4 blew a little bit. I blame the lack of Ash Atalla.

Also, episode 1 of Season 2 might be just a tad bit offensive.

Whee, it's a fun game of "try to find the object in the screencap, as the author has provided no hint as to where we should be looking."

It's like a Magic Eye puzzle featuring Waldo, only not so stuck in the 1990s.

Episode 1 of Season 2 is one of my favorite episodes of anything ever. All of Season 1 sucks, don't watch it. Seasons 3 and 4 are all amazing. Season 2 is pretty hit or miss but that is when it started to get good. It's not like the big bang theory or anything, it's actually a good show that just happens to be about nerds, instead of just being a show designed in a lab to cynically pander to nerds.

Ok. I'm sold. I'm going to revisit this series and just skip the first season.

Kingdomofloathing.com managed to get one of their coffee mugs on there. (The mug with the coffee pixie on it.) Roy was drinking out of it in some episode. Can't find a screecap, though. Friend of a friend knew the set designer.

I'm partial to the old PET computer behind Moss. Reminds me of being 9 years old and waiting for the new CURSOR Magazine casette tape each month.

Article sucks but the IT Crowd was great, especially Richmond. Link (An ill wind is blowing)

But the main reason it's a good show is the writing of Graham Linehan, also responsible for Father Ted, Black Books, and the movie The Matchmaker, where even that troll Jeneane Garafolo came of as charming

Mugato: Wow, talk about trying too hard.

What's really depressing about this is that there are, quite actually, dozens of items that they glossed over that are, in my opinion, far nerdier than the ones they listed. As admitted on the list, however, the chuckleheads who constructed the list couldn't be bothered to be, you know, knowledgeable about the stuff.

The list should be titled "The 10 Nerdiest Things We Could Recognize."

Really? There's an Altair sitting there as big as life and they pick out the freakin' Game Boy?

Everyone and their grandma had a Game Boy.

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I think the entire series is hilarious. The shoe episode! Peter File! Gay, A Gay Musical! Chocolate face poop! Yes, the third and fourth season are a bit funnier, but as a whole it's an incredibly sold little show.

Some things that I've caught:

Season 2 has Roy with the Panzer Dragoon Orta figures from Resaurus.

Dungeons and Dragons books that are in the background are either fake or "lost" books (Personal laugh for having "The Complete Guide To Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" and "The Complete Guide To Bloody Stupid Idiots") with some from lesser-known AD&D settings, and a +1 if you caught the "After The Bomb" book with a TSR logo.

THAT and the first episode or 2 where Mr. Reynholm takes over are great. Season 4 was pretty decent too.

Roy: A gay musical, called Gay. That's quite gay. Gay musical? Aren't all musicals gay? This must be, like, the gayest musical ever.
Moss: It got some pretty good reviews. [Pan to "The Audience Applauded" - The Evening Informer; "More Than Tolerable" - The London Echo"; "Not As Long As Some Musicals" - The Banner.]
Jen: "A story of a young man trying to find his sexuality in the uncaring Thatcher years. Warning: Contains scenes of graphic homoeroticism."
Moss: Oh no! It's set in the 80's!
Roy: Graphic homoeroticism? [turning to Moss] Does that mean they're going to get them out?
Jen: You're not comfortable with your sexuality?
Roy: Oh, I'm very comfortable with my sexuality, I just don't want to be slapped in the face with their sexuality.

I'm I the only one who noticed in a season one or two episode a gap in Jen's blouse due to the buttons and the way that she was wearing it and I hit pause and held the laptop closer to see just how much boobage I could see???

/Noticed the same thing on the hottie in the HR department where I work
//or rather, where I used to work.
///I stil argue to this day, using the camcorder setting on your phone and placing it camera side up as women in skirts walk down isn't sexual harrassment, it's a compliment!!!
