I'm down by 0.16 in fantasy, have no one left, and my opponent is playing Manningham.

I need Manningham to fumble the ball and then get injured for a win.

Will either team walk away with a victory?

Isn't that almost guaranteed?

I need the Giants defense to actually show up. I didn't see that Lloyd wasn't playing until the game started (thanks for leaving the "Q" next to his name Yahoo) and then Vick went down. I need 11.05 points out of the defense. I'm thinking I'm farked.

He has the Giants D left. His oppenent has Nicks and Manningham.

According to ESPN, Romo has a punctured lung... so the Giants are technically already ahead on the night.

I thought after Eli Manning's personal best year he had last season that he's supposed to be the real thing. I guess without Plaxico to bail out his bad throws, Manning is just average.

Do we need to make that into a glitter gif or something? So people are sure to read it? Or some other humorous type pictorial representation? I'm going to go sit in traffic and think about this.

Archie was a somewhat regular customer of mine back in the late 90s. If there is anyone who despises former players trying to coast on reputation and local worship, it's bartenders and waiters. Nothing but a class act.

Eli is lukewarm he needs to get into his stride, not to mention Giants are like a red headed midget step child with downs with all these injuries plaguing them.

No, he is a solid Super Bowl winning QB, but he is definitely not a HOF great like his brother. He makes too many mistakes without enough greatness to offset.

Is ESPN streaming the game on ESPN3? It doesn't seem like it on their website, but I can't really make heads, or tails of it.

I don't mind fantasy advice posts, but it gets old when every assrabbit and his uncle goes into unsolicited detail about his or her team.

==============================================================

Or, maybe, 3 touchdowns a piece with the kickers on both sides sucking ass.

What would be impressive is 4-4 which is, indeed, only possible with safeties.

/I wonder if anyone has EVER had 4 points in a football at any point.

My thoughts exactly. When Eli is on, he's close to a spitting image of his brother however just lacks the consistency.

Looks like it's happened once in the pros, on November 25, 1923. The Racine Legion beat the Chicago Cardinals 10-4.

The two most recent college instances were Iowa over Penn State, 6-4, in '04, and Miami over Florida, 31-4, in '87.

...and about the headline, "Battle of 0-fers" doesn't carry a whole lot of weight when these teams are going into their Week 2 games. You know, when half the teams are going to have zero wins...

I'm not accusing anyone of illegal activities, but if I wanted to watch the game on the Internet where would I do so?

You girls stop getting your panties in a bunch over people talking fantasy for all of maybe 3 or 4 posts and just enjoy the game.

2011-09-19 07:35:34 PM
Not to join the chorus, or be that guy, and I usually just ignore all the talk (it doesn't bother me.. I can easily skip over it), but really, talking about your fantasy team is no different than talking about your WoW character.

Needed 2 points from my TE to win this week... But somehow in a 48 point vicory, Pettigrew has to get hurt and posts a zero

I truly hope that's sarcasm. Because no QB can account for 30 turnovers and expect to be lauded for his effort.
But hey, he said he was as good as Peyton, and this year he has every chance to prove it, even if it's only for this year.

Die Giants Die.

Mike Stanton has now hit 900 feet of home run on the first two pitches he's seen tonight. Seriously.

The Braves and Red Sox, apparently, don't want to play in October.

I have no players left, but I'm up by 39.02. My opponent has the Rams kicker, and Giants DST... I'd rather see the kicker get a lot of points, and the Giants D collapse... cause I'm a Skins fan

Just don't respond to the fantasy football posts, geez. I don't play it, I don't like how it can skew viewpoints on how good a player actually is, but shiat, it's Fark. Fantasizers are gonna fantasize.
