Once a jackass, always a jackass.

Appropriate? No. Funny? Yes. And there's the rub.

"The last time this many nobodies got roasted, at least the band Great White was playing", joked Steve O reportedly.

Speaking of nobodies...

That said, it's a roast, and terrible things are said. What did you expect?

"I feel horrible about it. I initially ran the joke by some other comics, as an example of one that I wouldn't say.

This does not at all sound like bullshiat. I believe it completely.

It's a roast. If you're easily offended you probably shouldn't watch.

I'd think his fans would be more offended considering it's those nobodies that made this no-talent jackwagon and his moronic buddies famous in the first place.

/ joke was mildly amusing though

Comics should never apologize for their jokes. Angry rants like Michael Richards merit apologies, but jokes done with humorous intent, even if they're extremely offensive to some, should never be followed by an apology.

That said, Steve-O isn't a comic and I doubt he wrote that joke.

Nothing was funnier than Pamela Anderson's expressions at her roast. Total MUGATO logic there.

I'm sure the family members will take a page from the "9/11 family etiquette guide" and just sue the shiat out of anything that walks.

Doesn't really apply since Dunn's car never ignited and caught fire. Now, if you were commenting on Dancing with the Stars, which I think Steve-O was on, or will be, and said, "I haven't seen someone been twirled that much since Ryan Dunn was driving," then yes, that would be both effective and biting.

I agree with some of the comments here, I found it funny. He has a point, the roasts seem to be running out of people to roast and people to show up at the roasts. When Guido Six Pack from The Jersey Shore is invited to roast someone, you've strayed too far from your intended point.

No, Dunn's car did ignite. Before you act like a smartass, you should do a little research first.

Isn't the entire point of a roast to say really inappropriate crap?

People need to calm the f*** down.

Doesn't matter whether it did or not--most people don't know that, and the joke is obvious. Would Steve O make that joke? Probably not, it would be offensive to him. So maybe he shouldn't make this one either.

not that I give a fark one or the other. I'd had enough of this roast after I watched 30 seconds of the promo and heard Crazy Train over and over again. Whoo hooo, look at Charlie Sheen, he so crazy!! He's on the crazy train! Let's make fun of him, he's so crazy!! Crazy, that is to say---CRAZY!!!!

I thought butt-hurt should only apply when someone of self worth, respect, or moral fortitude says something that shocks you. How does that work in this case?

That said, the comics were right and it was a good joke. Screw CC for editing it out. This is the same jackholes that kept in Gilbert Godfried's ill-timed 9/11 joke that led to the infamous Aristocrats running joke finally seeing the light of day.

Tragedies happen. You can either live with it, laugh at it, learn from it - or you can become a bitter husk, searching for someone to blame and hate.

"They say: "You can't joke about rape, rape is not funny!" I say f*ck you! I think it's hilarious, how do you like that? I can PROVE to you that rape is funny - picture Porky Pig raping Elmer Fudd! Well, why do you think they call him "Porky"?"

I'll be damned.

On an episode of Tosh.0 there was a video of some drunk dude squirting lighter fluid into a lit grill and a whole bunch of shiat on the back porch caught on fire. Daniel's comment was "Great White throws the best barbecues." Comedy Central bleeped "Great White," which is the only time I can remember non-swear words being bleeped for content anywhere (until South Park's "201.").

Thing is... whether or not it's bleeped, you know it was said, and whether or not you'll be offended does not depend on its being bleeped. It merely ruined a joke.

These roasts have gotten incredibly tame over the years, usually because Comedy Central edits out all the jokes that actually, you know, roast. They either want to sell more uncensored DVDs, or to capitulate to victim-complexers who want wholesome family fun in a Roast of Charlie Sheen, or both.

You realize you are asking people from Cranston, Warwick, and West Warwick to move on, right? You are asking people who's friends and family were at a Great White concert to move on. You realize how insane that request is I hope.

These are people who were still listening to Great White in 2003. Do you think anyone they know has any grasp of the term "Move On"?

It's a shame that their friends and family still enjoy such shiatty music, but yes. It's been over a decade at this point. They really could afford to move on.

It's a wince-maker, that's for sure. But it meets the qualifications for low-brow humor, including the pun on the word "roast."
Of course, now I'll have to remember my words next time someone cracks on something near and dear to me.

Try this joke out... the last time I saw a nobody do 0-60 so fast, Ryan Dunn was driving.... TaDa
