akimbotoo: maynerdkitty: tigerose: Well, got

Your kitties are all so beautiful! I love how you describe their adventures. The fence sure turned out to be so much prettier than most of these types of fences. Painting (or is it staining) the wood makes a huge difference. I didn't know a simple fence could be so pretty.

Thank you, I just love going to Lexington and seeing all the black fences, I found that they use a paint called fencecoat black. I finally found some at Tractor Supply and it was cheap, 30. for a five gallon bucket. I have used one and a half buckets so far. Boy does it stink! it is a lacquer,
To continue with the story of tom splatting against the picture window, after I snuggled with him for a bit and gave him a lesson about not biting, we went outside. Oma Cassie was on the porch and she gave me a look before touching noses with Tom, She is in charge of them today and she could not find him.
Uncle Mikey and Forrest have been hanging out together a lot this week and Cassie has been staying with the kids. Just like a girl to dump the kids on mom and take off with the single guy. Cassie seems to like her grand kittens and does not mind babysitting. I don't know how she finds time to kill all those little animals for them.

Tom is staying on the ground to play with Jerry's tail. Jumping on stuff seems to get him in trouble.

John Buck 41: maynerdkitty: tigerose:

Looking fwd to seeing Castle behind it.

I did not get to standing more wire today, the rolls weigh about ten pounds more than me so I took a small nap and went out to groom the horses and pet the kitties instead. I discovered that Castle HATES getting the salt marks sponged off of him. He shook his back leg at me and then started nipping the air near my arm. It is hot out here today but the nites are cooler and I did not want to turn the hose on him. He loves the hose so I did not think sponging him off would bother him.
It did.
I groomed Mountain as well and he too, does not like getting sponged off! He bit the brushes laying on the hitch rail and chewed the hitch rail to show his displeasure. He shook like a dog and twitched his skin a lot so I think the water drops running off of them tickles them. Both horse are shedding their summer coats and there are short little hairs everywhere, I can see the new coat growing in thicker.
So far the kitties are not shedding, I think they will just add more hair to the mix. Mikey gets thick and plushy in the winter.

more tail catching by Tom, he has been just full of himself lately.

AlienNarrr!: Just doing a quick check in super early in the morning.

Took Ben Hurrr to Vet - he's back on stronger medication, still has two different types of bacteria we can't get rid of.

Then it was my turn - twice - to go to the hospital. Look like igor, all lumpy faced and body, can't talk, trouble breathing, on a cocktail IV. Thought at first it was a severe allergic reaction to something till it started to make my whole body like this....now they think could be infection from weird bacteria that could be making BH so sick...

/WTFFFFFF's all around, I has it!
//will be back later as I know what this weekend holds muahhh ahhh HAHHAH!!!

Sorry she had such a bad time the other day but glad that she's doing better now.Give her a scritchin' for us...but not near her ears :)

Thanks. :)
This morning when she got up and did her morning shakey-shakey-wakey-wakey, a 1/4" wide ball of gooey black infected ear-doodoo flew out of her right ear! Gross, but it means the infection is losing its foothold and her body is getting rid of the leftovers. Thankfully I got to it before Buddy could eat it. :op

yummy looking! we went out to get some beer at the grocery store and grabbed the cake so that i won't have to go out there tomorrow at least. funny thing is, we only went out to get beer because hubby got denied his beer for having a valid out of state license. that's right, a valid photo id that showed he was of legal drinking age. the store refused it because they don't want to deal with anything but a maine state id. lazy sods. but the furbabies are all tuckered out after playing with their fuzzy thing that daddy waved around for them. the way that they fight it makes me think that elwood is a mouser and jake is a birder.

Oh my doctor lives pretty close to me so he's able to get to me if there is a problem (bonus) and they know I have a sick kitten that needs his medication too so because they know I'm usually a good little patient (when not trying to grope the male staff - bad alien!) they allow me to do things they don't allow most patients to do such as the take home IV stand and IV bags and do treatment at home.
I'm hoping being hungry means my body is fighting whatever is in my system. I know Ben Hurrr's appetite has not diminished....the bacteria strains he has just make everything go straight through him. One of out two meds he was on a week ago killed one out of three bacteria strains he had. the other medication didn't kill off the other two so they just got worse so we are trying the stronger medication on them. If this doesn't work then we are probably looking at injection treatment for him.

AlienNarrr!: Well I can say personally it has been made and done to at least ONE human but for different purposes.
Yup - *waves hand* that'd be me.
I have 3 in my body - designed to read what's going on and one is in place to act as a defibrillator if (and has) neccessary.
Lots of big names and companies involved, and I knew what I signed up for with my lawyer when I sat down with all of them and my D-team. We can go online to see how things are going and can tell if something isn't right.
A lot of people will hiss and boo at this but given my situation and where it stands...I never did it for myself - I'm doing it for others. Research is my life now.
Technology is advancing, for better or worse - so why not try for the better for everyone and not just humans?

Bizarre, amazing, and farking amazing! The things they can do with technology! Wow.
May I also mention that YOU are amazing?

konekosama: valnt9: tigerose: The Birthday cake is done! It is carrot cake, with pineapple, coconut and raisins added to the carrot cake batter. I left out the nuts. I have enuf!! Lol. Now it has to cool, so that I can frost it. Cream cheese frosting of course!

Anyone want a slice once it is frosted?

I will have to hide the frosting once it is open. Eli lurves him some cream cheese frosting!

you're driving me nuts with the food.
I'm 20 lbs underweight
I could use to put on some pounds.

sickies and pregnant women first please. i'm sure alien could use a good slice when she's better.

Hey, I am a full service cook. Good simple meals.

Tell ya what...everybody go out, get one box of mac and cheese, one can of tuna, and one can of lowfat cream of mushroom soup. Make mac and cheese according to directions, add drained tuna and soup, Bake until bubbly. I add green peas, cause I like em! This is the traditional, "I feel like crap, I need comfort food NOW" recipe of my family. And it is good. I have made this with Velveeta Mac and cheese, Kraft, whatever you like.

Enjoy!

How far away could you be? Too bad I can't freeze dry stuff and ship it. I'd be a millionaire! lol!
I could send you some of my fat, I have some to spare....:)

Have you ever baked cakes and breads in a pint freezer jar? I make chunky monkey banana bread in jars and it keeps for up to a year. It makes great gifts too. eip if you want the directions.

tigerose: maynerdkitty: spinach gunk: Mrs CDK: spinach gunk: The good news is, she's doing quite a bit better today

:op

Good to hear she is getting better, ears are so sensitive.

Jerry the regal one.

Jerry is such a handsome boy! Course i am partial to Siamese, as I was owned for 15yrs by a Lilac Point! Her name was Aiko. She liked me, tolerated Hubby and the Boy and no one else! She even hissed at my Mom...as Mom was trying to wash her face, and Aiko was sitting on the sink! (My sink, mine, mine!)

OMG!! then you'd love my younger sister's cat and new kitten!!! both I think come from the same family (not same litter obviously) but part siamese part tabby. Yes she has a penchant for giving her pets weird names.
Jamama - who only likes her youngest son and is EVVVVVVIL and out to get everyone else (I am really not kidding)

There is a financial advisor, whose name is Cramer says Boo yah! all the time...sort of a "Yeah! baby!" thingy...Siamese tend to be one owner oriented and woe betide the mortal that gets betwix owner and cat! I once had a fellow who said, "Oh I can pet any cat" I gave him several band aides before he left. You know, if the cat is hissing, and baring it's oh so sharp teeth, you would think someone would heed the warning...evidently ego causes one to go momentarily blind....
