The other day we had the house open all night long. Cool breezes low humidity etc. So, Eli decided to wake me quite early. Meowing, body walk etc. It was only when I got up in morning that I could smell the skunk outside. I wonder if was trying to tell me about it

Probably not as bad as his waterlogged yak! We came through fine here - no flooding or damage to the house. The only bad thing for us is we lost power for about 43 hours.

well, we are still playing "rule out" trying to figure out what ails my kitteh.
still running a fever, having a hard time keeping food down, the 3rd eyelid is still very visible- but showing short bursts of normal activity then crashes like a kitten.
not a UTI as hoped- that test did not show blood in her urine but did show elevated bilirubin (liver??!)
waiting on bloodwork up report...

Poor Ben Hurrr has been sick last couple of days...not sure what the cause is, could be the heat...could be Gremlin I don't know...

Gremlin is being exactly like his friggen namesake - being a complete little shiat! climbing the drapes, beating on Ben Hurrr too roughly, stealing his gooshy food if I don't watch him (and now BH has stopped eating his grrr), not sharing toys...not letting me sleep, jumped INTO the toilet after I had used it, jumps on top of it (I always leave the lid down) and caught him on the bathroom counter...he is just being absolutely naughty to the extreme and I swear he NEVER SHUTS UP!

Those two are the COMPLETE POLAR OPPOSITES in attitude for sure.

Do have new pictures and video clips...just have not had the time to load them...
/oh gawds there's still one more day....

Usually elevated bilirubin is from hepatic lipidosis aka fatty liver.
I hope the vet can figure out the problem soon and get her on the road to recovery ASAP.

**waves** Just checking in briefly before I try to sleep. Saw the PA at the pain clinic today & had a series of injections, so I'm pretty darned sore. However, they seem to actually want to FIX the problem! I'm so very excited!

The kittehs are doing well. Last night I had a Cassie sleeping against my shins & a Lars snuggled behind my knees (I was on my side). Lars hasn't slept on the bed much since Cassie joined the family, so it was really comforting and nice :)

**HUGS** to those with sickly fuzzy critters, naughty critters, water-logged critters (including yaks), etc. I'll be in and out, but not terribly active until I feel a tad better.

Not yet. I'm going to either look into getting one of those external drive enclosures if I can figure out what kind to get or buy a power supply to try to get the old machine up and running. I wonder if those are universal. At least I still have all the stuff I stored on Photobucket.

Hi everybody!

Sherpa18, I've ordered you one of Jorgen Labs' new ZoviYax^TM full body dunk tank units, along with 75 gallons of industrial strength liquid ZoviYax. I recommend you set up your tank and jump in immediately upon its arrival. This is a severe sherpes emergency and there is absolutely no time to waste.

When you get in, do not be alarmed if your body makes a sound like a hot greasy frying pan dropped into a sink full of dishwater. Such an occurrence would be quite normal for someone in your condition. Just let the treatment work its magic. We need you in top form in case you have to deal with another outbreak yet again next Caturday!
