Transkaren: So that's what, 20 bras?

Heh. You wouldn't believe the amount of actual science that goes into bra manufacture. Cup fabric has to have a modulus of elasticity of A+/- tolerance M in the X axis, and B in the Y axis, +/- tolerance N, that sort of business. That leads to relatively high reject rates, which makes the fabric more expensive.

66 bras? Someone is gonna be fired for lack of customer service.

Well, no use crying over spilled milk.

If they get arrested they might end up in the can(s). Or if they are found criminally insane they might end up in the booby hatch.

Yeah I was gonna say that.. They're pretty damn expensive, but usually good quality so it's generally worth it.

Fark boobies trifecta with this and the last two main greenlits.

That's so gay.

Wait.

OK, maybe not.

Too bad Victoria's Secret doesn't concern itself with the actual science of bra FITTING. Instead, they habitually measure women to smaller cups and larger bands because it's cheaper to manufacture that way.

Sounds like the dating scene. The higher reject rate a guy has, the more expensive he'll do for dates.

the wife says victoria's secret is really crappy quality. is that so?

she likes the ridiculously expensive agent provocateur junk. It is not great to have a wife into expensive underwear. I used to think, brilliant. but now, it's like. Ok, say I buy this for a present for you. then, I have to give it to her in secret. she can't be opening this kind of stuff in front of friends and family. so, then it looks like i don't buy my wife gifts. and, it's expensive.

/ whatever quality, they have the prettiest models. and by they, i'm not sure if i mean victoria's secret or agent provocateur. both have very pretty models.

I can't find the articles, but this seems to be a trend in Ohio... It happened in Columbus, and at three malls in the NE Ohio area... I want to say Cleveland too.

Living in Ohio, I wince when I see the Cincinnati.com logo on Fark. It's always something bizarre that undermines my faith in humanity. Wife swears by VS underthings, of course when they fail they fail in a spectacular fashion and usually around the 12 month mark.

When this pair are captured and contained, it's inevitable that one will turn out to be a slightly bigger boob than the other.

Yeah, I used to work down there, I thought it wasn't too bad of a city, until I got lost one night, and had a window shot out in 'Over the Rind" or what ever they call it...

I too love their bras, they function well, and have eliminated back pain for me. But you are right, when they fail, they do so incredibly. And twice it's been strap malfunctions while at work... Damn boobies...

2011-09-01 12:10:00 PM
This isn't news, this happens at least twice a week. Last year my store got hit for several times that. 3k? Amateurs.

Over the Rhine... It makes Compton circa 1990 look safe.

Wife reports catastrophic underwire failure as the usual culprit.

I've had limited experience with VS bras (they don't do "mastectomy" styles, which is all I wear until I grow some of my own), but from what I've been told they really are bad to neutral quality. Someone I know swears by Playtex bras.

Tiiba: Are you suggesting that bras migrate?

Look, it's not a question of whether bras migrate, It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce piece of fabric could not carry a 1 stone tit.

I used to swear at a guy who worked for Playtex. Does that count?
