I know a guy that got out just minutes before the collapse. His 1st person account had every hair on my body standing on end and left me feeling incredulous. Another guy, who I had become pretty good friends with had resigned his position just a day or so before, and was scheduled to be there at 9:00 a.m. for his exit interview. HR called him the day before and said there was a scheduling conflict and asked him to come in at 3:00 p.m. instead.

I never agreed with the impeach Obama crowd until someone on the bus made a good point to me. "Why isn't 9/11 a national holiday?" I'm sure it would be if numerous other people were in office. Heck, GWB would have made it one if it weren't for a conflict of interest. Things like this, when you really think about them, are why this country can't move forward. It's like a giant with it's feet caught in cement. Considering 9/11 is only two weeks away, I hope we all can hold hands in solidarity on this and impeach Obama.

To me, this is not a partisan issue. I will even consider whomever the Democrats select to run against Bachmann for the vacant seat sitting there in our nation's most powerful chair.

Fark you man. I knew 4 guys that worked in tower 2 and 3 of them died. 4th guy lived because he was home with a sick daughter that day. He had a horrible time with survivor's guilt. Last I knew he's still battling it.

As a matter of fact, I was on the Fung Wah bus from BOSTON to NYC. To fairly historical places in regards to 9/11. If you forget, Logan airport is where the flights flew out of. I live in the area. I feel responsible, and even though I am not, I am an American! A Boston American. And you know what else the passanger on the Fun Wah said to me? He told me that the reason Obama is delaying the 9/11 memorial is because the arab world will never forgive him if he completes it on his watch. Tell me that that is not sinister?

I would wear that watch every day.

"What time is it?"

"Dunno. I'm on borrowed time."

Also, 9/11 isn't a holiday because all you'd have is ads saying "we're crashing done our already LOW PRICES!" or "We're declaring JIHAD on taxes this weekend weekend WEEKEND!!" or "Prove you love America and buy a truck. Keep America rolling!"

Oh wait, that last one really did happen.

Except for this interview and probably a few others with the 10th anniversary here. For all the scars that people seem to exhibit caused by horrible experiences, there always seems to be a number of them who will shill out that experience at convenient times.

The best way to honor those that died on 9/11 is to remember the fallen and forget their attackers. The more we wail and moan about the attack the more likely it is to be repeated.

GWB made it "Patriot day" when he signed Joint Resolution 71 on October 25, 2001. So you'll fit in with the impeach crowd, cause most of the time, they don't have their facts straight either.

I like that he was the last 9/11 survivor, but all FARK cares about is his hot daughter's camel toe. This is why I love this place.
