Her name is Beyoncé. God. Respect for a woman that fine.

And plus it's not a baby yet - it ain't born. It's a "baby on the way" - right now it's a cluster of cells.

And there's no such thing as a "soul".

I don't get it. How is having an extremely rich, pregnant wife a "problem"? Especially when you're as homely as that guy?

Single-named celebrities are one thing, but I give them a pass if they've always gone by that in their professional life. What I can't stand are celebrities who become famous under a normal name and then suddenly they drop the last name and expect us to go along with it. "I'm just Beyonce now!" Fark you, biatch! You're Beyonce Knowles, always have been, always will be!

One doesn't have to be religious (or "spiritual" for California hippies) to believe in a soul. There's nothing mystical about it. Might as well deny the existence of the mind too. (And for the record, I agree with you that it's not a person yet.)

Yeah! What does the "Z" stand for, anyway?

In his neighborhood, Carter was known as "Jazzy", a nickname that eventually developed into his showbiz/stage name, "Jay-Z". The moniker is also an homage to his musical mentor, Jaz-O, as well as to the J/Z subway lines that have a stop at Marcy Avenue in Brooklyn.

Please define the word 'soul'.

And I don't mean Beyoncé's singing. AO

Seriously, you are bones and guts and nerves and tissue and... that's about it. Altogether you have a feeling of 'consciouness', the "I", as it were. Where does 'soul' fit into the equation, idk. Seems kinda extraneous/superfluous and too easy for people to confuse with the spirit/ghost-like-thing that comes out of dying people in B-movies. Why use the word at all.

Do you consider personality, values, etc., to be superfluous or mythical? To have a soul is to have an awareness of existence that goes beyond the immediate moment and the physical senses. You have a sense of how actions have consequences, how your choices in life are important and cannot be undone. I would say that to have a soul means to have some sense of values and priorities in your life, not just going through life from whim to whim like a zombie.

Have fun not getting laid (by your wife) for a while, J. Also, expect what little rationality she had to disappear. But it's worth it the first time that little critter gives you a hug when you pick him / her up, or smiles at you when you walk into their room in the morning.

DjangoStonereaver: I hope to God the child gets mom's looks.

Hahaha. Absolutely. And they both seem like nice people, from what little I know about them. And that's good, that I know little about them--it means that they just do their thing, don't attract a bunch of drama, seem to have a solid marriage, and just happen to be filthy rich--and they both worked hard for it. Sounds like some of you are jealous.

And a 'soul' is not something you prove or disprove. It's a belief, just like any other unprovable belief. Why don't you go argue about whether Catholics are going to heaven first or something? It makes just as much sense.

To be "inherently evil" would imply that the person doesn't have a choice, can't help himself, etc. In the case of the insane that's certainly true, but then such people are neither good nor evil. As for all that "conditioning" bullshiat, don't even try with me. Either you're sane and you have free will or you're not.
