Scott Evil? He's the Diet Coke of evil, just one calorie not evil enough.

Beavis and Butt-Head don't make the list? They count as movie teens because of Beavis and Butt-Head do America.

I'd happily invite them over to my place to watch MTV and laugh my ass off as they critiqued the music videos.

That scene will go down in movie history and rightfully so. However, I always thought Jennifer Jason Leigh had the better rack.

/Was Jennifer Connelly on the list?
//Alyson Hannigan? Amanda Bynes? Eliza Dushku?

I didn't find Ferris Bueller likable, either.

Dhusk: fark Ferris Bueller.

I have never understood why people like that character so much. A smarmy, smug, know-it-all who never has to work hard at anything and has everything work out perfectly for him whether he deserves it or not. I wanted to slug him in the mouth the entire movie.

Never could understand the fascination people have with Ferris Bueller and the movie. Any guy who skips school with a hot car and a hot gal...then goes to a art museum....would have got his ass kicked by the student body when he returned. No one skips school to spend any time at an art museum.....

There were so many better 80's movies and characters. Dong was even cooler than Bueller

BadReligion: Really, they have Spicolli but no Stacy from Fast Times? She was awesome, hot, easy but not in a slutty way, and she'll totally date you if you're assistant to the assistant manager. Plus she cares enough to learn about oral at lunch in front of the whole school.

Stacy put a cork in it after the abortion, unfortunately

I agree with the consensus regarding Ferris Bueller. Smirking twerp.

This and I'd like to add Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell for many of the same reasons.

seconded. I'd much rather hang out with the kids from Better Off Dead than Ferris Bueller.

Believe me, if after seeing the Harry Potter movies you wished to have "matriculated" with Emma Watson, then after seeing "Perks of Being a Wallflower" when it comes out next year, you'll...well...you'll wish that even more.

Dammit. That ending phrase was supposed to be clever...

I don't think you're intended to watch that film and relate to or even "admire" Ferris in any tangible way. He's more an obnoxious vehicle to serve the real purpose of that film; escapism for bored teens wondering what "adult" life can really be like, hence the art museum, upscale restaurant, the fact Cameron conveniently had access to a "hot car" and just any old wheels, etc...

Plus, what kind of high school did you go to? In mine, rolling joints and maybe going to the beach while playing hookey was old hack; taking a hot girl to "the city" would be seen as way cooler.

I don't hate on Ferris but I do recognize that he is running a giant scam on everyone in that whole movie. To Ferris you aren't his "friend" you are a dupe to be exploited for his own benefit. At no point do you see him give back or do anything for his "friends". He can run his scams and I don't care but he'd make a terrible friend.

No way. Hermione Granger would have totally screwed up the grading curve.

Actually, yes. Put Edward in the same school as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Peter Parker, AND Bill and Ted? He wouldn't stand a chance. In fact, I'd love to see that movie.
