List fails without Zima. Although it's a good thing that it's gone.

You can still get 4 loco here (Missouri).

I don't know, I feel like my life is somehow incomplete knowing that I'll never get to chew Gatorgum.

I always wanted to eat those things, but my mom would never buy them, so I never got to try them.

Also, I once squeezed a blood filled boil, and the resulting shiat that came out looked like purple ketchup.

Also known as: 25 foods I've never eaten before. Except maybe the Ecto Cooler, but I drank many boxed sucrose-waters when I was a child.

I was all set to be saddened by something that I once loved going away forever.

I don't know if I tried anything on that list.

Get some Gatorade powder and a stick of Fruit Stripe Gum (the yellow "lemony" flavor). Chew the gum until it's soft and roll it in some of the Gatorade powder, then stick it back in your mouth.

Exactly the same thing.

(The Gatorade flavor in the gum only lasted about 90 seconds, so I'm reasonably sure that this is actually how it was made.)

You missed out big time, buddy. Just looking at the packaging for those makes me suddenly remember how tasty those things were. Damnit.

No mention of these?

For some reason these were a beloved childhood icon, even though they were snot green and filled with vanilla pudding of a questionable texture. Why, I ask you? Why?

Wow, I've had most of the things on that list. My husband still biatches about how they never should have discontinued Surge... and on the very rare occasion he finds one that wasn't sent back, he savors that shiat like it's the nectar of the gods, no matter how far out of date it is.

/I'd make fun of him, but I do the same thing with Livewire and Crispy M&Ms.

Just looking at the packaging lets me know how tasty they must have been. Damn you mother.

/She thought they were unhealthy so she wouldn't buy them. Even so, when I would come back from college, she would buy a dozen Krispy Kremes, which I wouldn't even eat. I think she was trying to fatten me up to get my girlfriend to leave me so she could have me all for herself.
//So glad my wife and I are leaving the country before she me and taxidermies my body.

In high school (1995-1998), our cafeteria sold things called Taco Snacks... they were insanely good, with processed nacho cheese and ground beef all melded together and clogging your arteries as you ate them, and I've never been able to find them since then. Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Oh, and they came individually wrapped and were heated inside the package. Doing a GIS but not finding it yet.

I saw those, they might be what I'm remembering... we only saw the individual packages, not the box, so it might be different. Of course, this was 15 years ago, so they may have just rebranded.

Now to decide whether $18 for 15 taco snacks is worth it to see if they're the same ones...

The EZ squeeze ketchup also came in green, though I preferred the purple. The funny thing is, you could actually make green ketchup from actual tomatoes. And you could also make purple ketchup from actual tomatoes. Yes there are purple tomatoes.

I still mourn the loss of Surge. I used to have one every morning at work to wake me up since I don't drink coffee.

I miss the days in the 80s when there what seemed like a few dozen Kool Aid flavors.

SNGX1275: You can still get 4 loco here (Missouri).

It's still for sale at one distributor here in Pennsylvania. The state government has ASKED stores not to sell it, most have complied. Why anyone would drink that is beyond me though. I miss me some ecto-cooler though. And Butterfinger BB's, I remember those, they were alright! Oh and 3D Doritos, BRING THEM BACK YOU JERKS!

Anyone remember the soda-flavored gum with a gooey center? I remember the 7-UP ones, probably gone by the late 80's or so but whatever they were, I wish I could taste their sweet goodness just one more time.

I'm currently lamenting the loss of Kettle brand potato chips Spicy Thai flavor. It was delicious.

WHY, KETTLE? WHY?

*sob*
