The majority of negative side affects from smoking weed are as a direct result of the fact that it's illegal. People don't get killed in a subway over tobacco or alcohol, nor do they get kicked out of school for smoking, (they do for drinking, but only if underaged, college kids certainly don't -- i'm living proof) People go to jail because it's illegal, the government spends billions of dollars that could be used to fight terrorism, or even fund Big Brother's 87billion dollar "Eeraki" (iraqi) reconstruction plan. Too much bullshiat for such a harmless drug.

I find it depressing that people still resort to the argument "If it's the law, it must be obeyed/enforced, regardless of whether or not it's right." Am I mistaken, or are people supposed to be afforded the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? In many states, sodomy is a crime. In many states, oral sex is classified as a form of sodomy. Are these laws enforced? No. If they were enforced, would there be public outcry? You bet your ass there would. It's the same situation here. Whether or not you decide to use drugs, that's a personal choice. It doesn't infringe on the rights of your neighbor, of your local concerned parents organization, or of John Ashcroft. Anti drug legislation is unethical, wrong, and it goes against many of the assumptions that this country was supposedly founded on. Telling someone they should stop complaining and work to get the law changed is wrong - they shouldn't have to.

I was "too high" once in Amsterdam. Ate space-cakes and smoked my head off and thought that we'd been sitting at the bar for about 10 minutes -- a brief lull in conversation -- until the coffee shop owner told us it ws 3am and closing time...we'd been sitting in silence with half-drunk milkshakes in front of us for almost 3 hours.

Yah, that happened to me once, i don't consider it 'too high' thou. I get 'too high' when i make little cocktails, or especially when i used to do the nastiest of all nasti nasties (year clean, btw, i'll go ahead and pat myself on the back for that one).

The first time i ever hit a bong i was smokin 550/oz stuff, and didn't know it was good shiat, i cashed an entire bowl (about six hits) and then proceeded to puke for eight straight hours (no lie) I suppose that could be consicered 'too high' too, but i was a rookie, that's never happened to me since i've reached the 'veteran' status.
