I was expecting an iocaine powder reference, myself.

What else has subby done wrong that we can biatch about? There has to be something.

Harder to evolve resistance to mechanical traps. Not impossible, just harder.

There I was with my back to the wall,
Then comes this monster mouse, he's ten feet tall,
With teeth and claws to match.
It only took one blow.

Wait, do you seriously expect me to believe that a species changed over time due to selective reproductive pressure in their environment? Poppycock.

How could the mice be millions of years apart when the Earth is barely more than 6000 years old? Why would Noah take two different species of mice and allow them to have interracial sex?

As someone who's been trying to kill some damn mice that have been running rampant around my kitchen, this pisses me off to no end. I've killed four, but some other ones have managed to get the bait out of a few traps.

I believe it. My mouse hasn't picked up anything, and I click it relentlessly all day.

And you don't even want to know where my hands have been.

You need her:

Don't let the cute fool you, she is quite the little assassin. Very big ears when she was a kitten and has held to the old adage of "big ears = good mouser".

Then we will look up and shout "Damn you mechanical traps damn you!"

FTFA: "Other scientists aren't so sure. Dr Julie Dunning Hotopp is from the Institute for Genome Science at the University of Maryland, US. She says the house mouse story does not meet her definition. "It's interesting work - but I wouldn't call it horizontal gene transfer, which I would say was gene exchange in the absence of sex.""

She sounds like a lot of fun at parties.
