Oh, this is about the real scientific idea that there could exist a brown dwarf companion to our star.

From the headline and the word "myth" I thought this would be about some end of the world nonsense.

Also two star trek headlines in a day? let it go.

So the article starts out by assuaging the fear that Nemisis is going to fling a comet into Earth and cause an extinction level event, then goes on to detail how their new statistical model shows that meteorite impacts have been steadily increasing for the last 250 million years so we're all still farked.
