I remember... when I first started reading Fark the old photoshops. The original clich kitty contest for example... and shoot, even before that. (I still have most of the old source images on my PC.) Lots of cut, paste, hack, and comic balloons to top the whole thing off. A good laugh was had by all, however, the quality wasn't that fantastic. Looking at these images... I am nothing short of awed by several. I have to say congratulations to all those involved, and please, keep making Fark a slightly more cultured environment for us all. (But hack, and paste is is still fun)

It was obviously fair...TranzorZ won all of the contests individually, Worth just always seemed to get 2, 3, and 4...and won as a team.

Seriously, SA does have some good photoshops, but the things that make the main page are the cream of the crop. Fark puts the good and the bad out there. Of course whatever theme that makes Photoshop Phriday or Comedy Goldmine is good. It's the best they could find over the course of a week.

Looking over all the entrys, this was an awesome idea.. It should become like a monthly thing or so.. How about having photoshop contests to see who would make the fark team? Or something like that, i wish i had the skills to photoshop decently, because it would be alot of fun.
Not to mention the whole contest was great, the entrys were amazing

You're a tf'er, you know that we get quite a bit of time to work on photoshops as well (way over 24 hours usually). Not to take away from these works of art. I'm impressed with the things that people can do with photoshop. Props to all involved. I agree with some earlier posts on calling shenanigans. Any respectable site hosting a contest for outsiders would gracefully bow out of the contest and become an objective judge, merely putting in it's own submissions as a showcase...

Dr Toast - PETAbot (and Trailerbot) style ps's are my idea of Fark photoshop competitions - Well conceived, well executed, cute, and FUNNY.

You guys turning in those submissions that are technically excellent and just damn hilarious is what keeps many of us coming back.

I browsed the Worth1000 archive and I must say that their photoshops are generally better than the stuff I see here. FARK is awesome, but don't let that cloud your judgement.

I forgot to say that their PS themes are a lot better than ours.

Way to show support, guys! I didn't have anything in the tournament, but it was exciting to be part of the team. ALL of the participants from all the teams came up with unbelievable images, including Something Awful, who produced top-notch stuff. Photoshop Cafe deserves mega props, too, because they had never partipated in contests like these, so they had the biggest disadvantage, and they really stepped up to the plate.
