As long as they get naked like their elder predecessors did (except the equine) then I'll GIS them.

If I may have a Studman moment, those are three sets of ugly ass knees. Just sayin'.

So, yet another remake of Golden Girls with the ladies getting younger?

2011-07-26 10:10:53 PM
Selena Gomez may be 19 years old, but she looks much too young for this kind of role. She has the face of a 13 year old girl. I don't want to see that face talking about sex. It's creepy.

So... it's all speculation? this is the worst article ever written.

And supposedly she took a chastity oath. At least that was before Bieber Fever.

Agreed, plus she does have some ability w/ comedic timing and not a horrible actress. I doubt the Mouse would release her to do this when she's their new golden girl after Demi and Miley both started down the Lohan trail.

I can only hope Blake Lively shows her teats as often as Kim Cattrall.

This is a tired idea.

Instead, I suggest you remake Sex in the City with men. Not gay men, either, but straight men. Reverse all the roles. Turn Carrie into Carey. Turn Samantha into Sam, etc.

It would be awesome.

There's a show on TNT or some other such network called "Men of a Certain Age" starring Scott Bakula. That and about 10,000 other TV shows or movies involving a group of guys talking about what they want from women should be what you're looking for.

Grown-up Charlotte was usually embarrassed by sex talk, so younger Charlotte will probably be even more buttoned up and uptight.

Didn't the last Sex and the City movie come out last year? And wasn't the whole point of Sex and the City that they were all cougars?

I hate Hollywood.

Continue the habit of naming EVERYTHING after "Sex in the..."

Desperate Housewives = Sex in the Suburbs

True Blood = Sex in the Bayou

A show with the above women would be ... Sex in the Junior High?

Ms Bushnell told how the story had moved on from her first prequel, which sees Carrie as a teenager in the Midwest. 'She has more confidence; now that she's finally away from home, she can discover and explore new parts of herself,' she revealed.

No... You don't seem to understand.

I want them to use the EXACT SAME LINES and character descriptions as the original Sex in the City. Carey is obsessed with shoes. Sam is an aging slut. Etc. Follow the same plot, use the same dialogue, but change all the articles to the opposite gender.

In fact, use the same costuming ideas as the original show, but with masculine clothes. Same colors and styles, though.

I'm not saying make something LIKE Sex in the City, I'm saying make a word-for-word remake of Sex in the City with reversed roles.

Chris Hardwick has mentioned something similar in his Nerdist podcast. He jokes about wanting to do a one-"man" show called "SaMANtha", where he dresses in drag as Samantha from SiTC and does an entire show of nothing but badly-done sexual innuendo.

Ed Grubermann:
Every hear of a little show called "All That Glitters"?

The best part of that entire Wiki page is this: "While the show itself was unsuccessful, it did spawn a hit song. "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", which had been written with the intention of its being the theme song, was recorded by Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand and made it to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. By the time the show made it to air, another song had been chosen as the theme."

I would definitely watch at least one episode of this. Not sure who would be a viable pony-like male actor though. "Mrs." Big would have to be to an appropriate scale as well.

Blake Lively, Emma Roberts and Selena Gomez naked on screen? I'll believe it when I see it and only if they shoot it so there is no way a body double could be worked in. My guess is that they'd all do totally fake looking sex scenes with most of their clothes still on. Elizabeth Olsen might want to get naked to get a little attention. But in all likelihood we're talking about a movie that earns an R rating for sex talk alone.

Of course, who knew where Anne Hathaway was going when she did those disney princess movies? Maybe we're looking at a trend. (crosses fingers)
