I got 20.

2011-07-21 09:18:03 AM
I got 23, but I missed Jaws. I stared at it forever and just couldn't put it together. That's a really fun morning brain-teaser.

2011-07-21 09:41:38 AM
36...I've seen all but one of those films, but the car driving away scenes are hard to pin down. I was in the right genre but the wrong movie on 8. I noticed there are a couple of pairings next to each other that have either a common actor or a common word in the title, if that helps.

ginandbacon: but I missed Jaws

You missed farking Jaws? Jaws?

2011-07-21 10:10:50 AM
I got 23...only one I'm pissed I missed was the Shining. Guess it's been too long since I've seen it.

2011-07-21 10:20:38 AM
I got 21. I think Annie Hall and Good Will Hunting were the only movies I've seen that I didn't get.

Well, Jaysus, the final scene wasn't one that stuck in me wee noggin. Sue me. I think it was the snow...

True story, I was on the Vineyard while they were filming. I have never seen so many people pissed off about detours in my entire life.

The thumb in the Brokeback Mountain one looked, at first glance, like a penis.

I loved that movie.

2011-07-21 10:53:15 AM
Oh come on, most of those are too damn easy.

2011-07-21 11:09:00 AM
Those are all impossible, super-easy, or wrong.

The last image in Shawshank Redemption is NOT him smiling, but a distant shot of the two guys hugging on the beach.

2011-07-21 11:26:32 AM
Ugh. I only got 17, but I've seen almost every movie on the list.

Self, I am disappoint.

2011-07-21 11:30:10 AM
Because images on the site loaded slowly, I got a good look at the list of films instead of the purty pitchers. Oh well.

23 sure bets. There were 4 that I guessed and got 3.

Wow I'm a pansy, just the image of the that last scene in Monsters Inc gets me all misty eyed.

The final scene of Shawshank Redemption does not exist. It's a horrible ending. The movie truly ends at Red's monologue on the bus, where he admits that he finally has hope once again. That is all.

2011-07-21 11:39:02 AM
Beetlejuice "I'm not your coach! He survived!"

Toy Story. No idea which one

Muppets Take Manhattan. The creator of that post should have left clues out of the filenames

2011-07-21 11:40:27 AM
Only 20. I must be tired.

2011-07-21 11:40:52 AM
Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, The Sound of Music, Grease, Dirty Dancing, Jaws, Crybaby, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Titanic, Risky Business, Black Swan, Monster's Inc, Big, The Departed, Toy Story 3,
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. What the rest are, I have no clue.

thamike: They cheated.

Final "scene" might've been a better description.

25, but I guessed three more. I don't feel too bad, most of what I missed were the older movies, though I did get 12 Angry Men. Kramer vs. Kramer and a few others I've never seen.

12 Angry Men is one of the "incorrect" images I think - the truly "final" image is Jurors 8 and 9 walking away after exchanging names.

2011-07-21 11:54:52 AM
Sure can because they named the images after the movie...

2011-07-21 11:56:58 AM
Well I guess they list all the movies at the bottom too lol I feel dumb

2011-07-21 11:57:25 AM
19 - but i also hadn't seen a number of them

2011-07-21 11:58:03 AM
I was expecting picture after picture of the tail end of credits. Huh.

And the shot of Ferris in bed isn't the last shot of Ferris Bueller. Try Rooney sitting in the school bus glaring at the "save Ferris" graffiti.

Jeffery Jones on a school bus.

Fun ... even if some of those are not the final shot of the film ... or even the right film. That's Marilyn and Jane Russell, so the movie is Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, not How To Marry a Millionaire (which was Marilyn, Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable.)

Kinda surprised that one wasn't in there.

I couldn't remember if it was the first muppet's movie or the Muppet's Take Manhatten. I remember seeing The Muppet's Take Manhatten when it was in theaters and I was just a wee lad, but I honestly don't remember much about it.

/home from work due to just being in too much farking pain
//has a Netfilx subscription
///I could watch it again

The one with Marilyn Monroe is NOT How to Marry a Millionaire, but Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. I know my Marilyn Monroe movies, especially the ones so iconic as THAT one! (Also Jane Russell wasn't even IN Millionaire!!)

2011-07-21 12:16:56 PM
Wasn't the final image of Ferris Bueller him telling the audience to go home?

2011-07-21 12:18:39 PM
45 is a bit more than "several."

2011-07-21 12:23:21 PM
Did someone mention that the Marilyn Monroe image is from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes yet?

2011-07-21 12:26:16 PM
I'd like to see how Roger Ebert does.

IMHO, they should have included De Niro wearing those big ass sunglasses at the end of "Casino".

2011-07-21 12:35:12 PM
They should have had Boogie Nights.

2011-07-21 12:40:33 PM
38.

I've never even seen Black Swan and I got that one. Good link though.

You're thinking of The Muppet Movie.
